That would be usage of something like Unreal or Unity :P Can be great fun, and you can still learn loads from it. Though it will be centered more around the game aspect, taking away some of the 'general' programming focus.

There's certainly stuff you can learn form others but trial and error are your best teachers. Don't take everything others say literally and figure out methods that work best for you.

Last time I had this downgrading (strangely enough) helped. I was on java 9 though, if you're on 8 downloading probably wont do anything. Remove any old versions that are installed at the same time as the version you're using, and see if different versions work for you.

To be fair, botting just has a decent risk in general. But as a rule of thumb; don't bot in ways you wouldn't play legit (goodluck sitting at barrows for 6 hours straight for example)
