Dear community,

It has been a long search and tough decision on who we needed to continue the active development of OSBot. Several candidates were carefully reviewed and the decision was difficult to say the least. We are happy to announce that we think we have found the perfect candidate to follow up on the outstanding work that @Alek has always delivered.

Without further ado, I want to present you our new developer: @Patrick A.K.A. Pat-Ji with a selfwritten introduction:

Quote

I'm Patrick, some of you might know me as Pat-ji. I've been into programming since 2009 and have been active in the rs botting scene since pretty much the release of Dungeoneering. Maybe some might recall MasterDungeon from the pre-eoc era, which was my first public script. I have been active in the botting scenes for multiple games, but my main focus has always been the rs botting scene. I haved worked on different (private) bots and scripts over the past few years and have always loved getting involved with the rs botting community. Some of you might recall ExcoBot, an osrs bot I ran between 2013 and 2014. Besides rs, the largest game I made bots for was pokemon go, where I was the co-founder and co-dev of the largest bot out there at the time. When I heard that OSBot was looking for a new developer, I came into contact with the OSBot staff pretty quickly and after a while ... well, here we are. If anyone has any questions or suggestions for the bot, don't hesitate to ask :)

The last administrative formalities are currently being taken care of and from here on out we'll be able to bring Pat-ji in to the working mix, by gradually giving him acccess to the bits and bytes of OSBot. We are really happy to have @Patrick on the team and are looking forward to his contributions to OSBot.

Yours sincerely,
The OSBot team

Hey everyone, Patrick here.

I'm very glad to be on the OSBot team and I'm looking forward to upgrade the bot and help out the community ^^

If anyone has any questions, ask away!

Welcome to osbot!

reminds me of Patches O'Hulahands! If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball.

Do you plan on making any immediately changes? What ideas do you have in mind early on if any to improve the client?

Welcome! I remember ExcoBot, right on! Excited to have you here to support the community.

Thanks!

I already got a list of small things I will be working on like being able to rename tabs.

But I'm always open for suggestions ^^

Yesssss, my man! I've had the pleasure of knowing this guy for quite some time and I'm very excites to see him work here. Future for OSB is looking bright :)
