I see a lot of people asking questions about gold farming so I decided to make a simple guide explaining it. These are just the basics that you should know before starting a gold farm. Example of an easy gold farm method 200-400k/hour depending on how many people are doing it. Requirements take less than a day splashing. I used to run 4-5 bots on this before I released it publicly. There is no way around it. The key is to profit as much as you can before getting banned. Don't complain when you get banned. Mule the gold every few hours so you do not risk losing out on profits Find a good private script Buy a VPS to increase the size of your farm Do not bot stupid stuff like Blast Furnace or woodcutting and expect to not be banned. No one is going to tell you their gold farm method so do not ask Test things out to see what is profitable. Buy VIP to expand your gold farm(if you plan to run more than 2) If you do not want to pay for a private script, then learn to code yourself. This means that all your accounts are not linked on the same IP.9) What is a mule?An account that holds your gold and is not botted10) Will my mule get banned?It is very hard for a mule to get banned( very low chance but still possible)11) What is automated muling?Some people have it coded into their scripts to automatically transfer gold. This is the ultimate gold farming strategy because it lowers the risk of profit loss and allows the user to have less input12) Should I bot f2p or p2p? p2p is the way to go. For some reason p2p bots have a lower ban rate and there are a lot better methods.13) Why should I invest money if I am just going to be banned?If you find a good method and bot smart, you will make profit.14) How many hours a day should I bot?No one knows the answer to this. There's always a risk in botting.15) Does the weekend really have a lower ban rate?From what I have seen, yes it does. Jagex is out of the office during these days. This does not mean you cannot be banned, but I know a lot of people who run huge gold farms starting Friday-Monday morning.16) What are breaks?Breaks are a user selected option that allows you to control how long to bot for and when to not bot. I was extremely patient with the user, left him over 6 days to do services that could've been completed within 7 hours at the very most. The problem lies here: I almost never harass anyone that ever does some job for me (anyone that has ever done something for me can vouch for this) However, I found it a bit ridiculous, so I went to find him on Skype and little did I know he had blocked me. So i thought okay, strange. I then went to login to my accounts and found out he had literally done absolutely nothing. One was at tutorial completion and the other was where it'd been left by someone else previously. I wouldn't really care at this point but there's 2 things that bug me: He blocked me (very strange) I'd like to be compensated for my lost memberships Following this, I found him on OSBot and PMed him. First PM: ^ He read this and ignored it (i saw he read it) He was still online, happily browsing Slayer scripts so I sent him a follow-up PM: I reminded him that i could see if he read it or not... So i thought fine, he's co-operating: We then agreed to a refund: but he says i have to wait until 1 of the accounts membership is on the last day of membership to receive my refund? i gave this guy plenty of chances and tried to be as nice as i possibly could, i did not want to leave a bad feedback but this was well-deserved. tl;dr = he owes me 2.8m 07 as we agreed and he has extremely fishy activities (possibly TWC worthy) my theory is that he thought the accs were high level or had a high amount of wealth on them so was going to clean them and then once he found out they were level 3s he just blocked me on Skype and had no intentions of doing the service. This is a very popular thread with many many users so if a new location is mentioned, the location will be populated very quickly so I can only suggest examples of good locations - Don't go botting straight after a game update, it can be a very easy way to get banned. Wait a few hours! If you ever get banned, just backtrack your mistakes and avoid them in the future: you cannot be banned without making botting mistakes. Keep in mind you can be delay-banned from using previous scripts, so don't go using free/crap scripts for 24 hours then switching to a premium script, because the free/crap previous script can still get you banned! Every rock type has lots of ids based on the mesh but the color is the same for all of them, hence it's a better approach. You can either use the enum model comboboxes or get enum fields using the Enum#valueOf() on a String based model. EDIT: those rock colors are not real, it's just for the sake of the example, I can't be bothered opening eclipse and looking through my projects for my actual Rock enum
