Dear community, We are aware of the issue with the script loader. The issue arises from the update to Java 8, which for some reason causes some scripts to not get packed completely by the server. This is most likely due to the update to Java 8 which (for who knows what reason) caused a race condition in the SDN compiler. We have narrowed the possible solutions down and we will have to try each one of them until we find the one that fixes it. We are sorry for the inconvenience but let us reassure that the issue is not being ignored, this is a very important matter to both you and us. Sincerely, The OSBot staff

  3. It is with regret that I am opening a dispute against Muffins (http://osbot.org/forum/user/13549-muffins/). Let me preface this by saying that this is not a scam report, but an appeal to the moderators to solve a dispute between the 2 of us. I am told that Muffins is an upstanding member of the community and a reasonable person, however I feel that our exchanges have not reflected this.. he has consistently been difficult to receive a response from, and shows little to no interest in helping to resolve my issues with his service. I will also state that all conversation has primarily been done through OSBot chat, which I believe mods/admins have access to. A few messages were also exchanged through the forum messenger. On 03/05/2015 I purchased a VPS from Muffins. This was advertised to me as a Windows VPS capable of running 1 mirror client. The price agreed upon was $15, of which I paid: After some delay, I was given the details to the VPS. Despite his thread clearly stating all VPSes are delivered pre-installed and ready to go, the state of the VPS upon receipt was entirely default. I was to download java/osbot/mirror mode and configure the settings myself. Taken from http://osbot.org/forum/topic/71497-%E2%98%9E%EF%BE%9F%E3%83%AE%EF%BE%9F%E2%98%9E-muffins-vps-shop-botting-ready-80-fb-fresh-ips-all-types-of-botting-packages-%E2%98%9C%EF%BE%9F%E3%83%AE%EF%BE%9F%E2%98%9C/ After loading runescape through the browser and the mirror mode client, it became evident that this VPS was not as advertised. The game was completely unplayable, I would estimate I was receiving around 3fps. It was to the point where even logging in was difficult. When I finally managed to get a script started, it was running at less than 1/5th of its usual capacity, proving that the issue laid with the VPS and was not a problem my end. Dissatisfied, I requested that Muffins attempt to receive a refund from his VPS supplier. He said that he would try, and wrote a one line email to their support team.. The following day when I spoke to him, I was told that there were no refunds given. As he could not receive a refund from them, he would not refund me (despite the VPS being NOT as advertised, and unable to run a mirror client). In my eyes, he should be responsible for refunding me at that point, as it is not my responsibility nor my problem that his supplier co-operates with him. However, I continued to attempt to reason. As the VPS was entirely useless to me at this point, I compromised and went along with the idea of 'upgrading' the VPS, so it would become usable at least. At this point, if I recall correctly, he assured me that it would run a mirror mode client just fine. I reluctantly parted ways with a further $8, totaling $23 sent to Muffins. This morning, I went to test out the new upgraded version of the VPS. Upon finding that it had not improved what-so-ever, I sent Muffins a message: He has since not replied, despite being online all day and speaking in the OSbot chat (http://puu.sh/hCJyl/a3b00addff.jpg). Apparently, his customers do not deserve a response when dissatisfied. I would like to stress that he has been very unco-operative from the beginning, and seems to feel like because he has given me the server details, that is the end of it. Unfortunately, I don't agree, and feel as though I have been ripped off, as I have paid a premium and not received what I was promised in return. I am sure the moderators will agree that this is no way to conduct business. As I have spent quite some time filing this dispute, I ask that all that review this do so in a non-bias manner, and put themselves in my shoes, as I have now lost out on $23 and received something utterly worthless to me. I look forward to you assisting in this dispute. Thanks, Swindle.
  4. Fuck my teacher and get her pregnant.
  5. I knew I was going to be traumatised before I came here.
  6. I'm entitled to review the script with as many stars and on whatever basis I want, that is what a review is. If I don't like the script and I feel it's missing something - I'm not going to give it a 5 Star Review. What is this, North Korea? I'm entitled to my opinion and if I buy a script, I'm damn well entitled to review it as I please regardless of it being a 5-star view or 1.
  7. tl;dr there's no antipattern system
  8. don't worry I will update this thread ASAP, when the sdn is fixed. I feel very bad for the new customers who now have a bad impression of my scripts, please have an open mind, I am one of the scripters that refreshes osbot every ~10 minutes to see if my scripts are working/okay
  9. Skype's do indeed match as i found one of his posts here where he states this indeed is his Skype. Thanks for the report, user has been banned. We don't like scammers here
  10. Pretty simple suggestion, I have had mostly neutral experiences with the OSBot community with the exception of about 3-4 people(not worth mentioning they don't deserve to be acknowledged). Unfortunately some of these children still post on my threads and not surprisingly they can't seem to stop posting rude/idiotic replies on my legitimate threads. What I am suggesting is adding a feature for when you block someone, so they can't post on your threads(Toggleable of course I mean there's already the option to block people from emailing you on and off). It'd be a plus if they couldn't even see it, but that's lower priority.
  11. Before I begin let me be clear when I say this suggestion is not mean to be an OSBot staff sponsored program, this would be run by someone like myself who has lots of feedback and is willing to take huge risks for huge profits. I recently came up with the idea to create an insurance program for runescape services on OSBot. Basically, its purpose would be to intervene in disputes against services by reimbursing scam victims of services who have invested into the insurance program. The amount the insurance provider would reimburse depends on how much insurance the service owner has decided to pay for per month. To start there'd be an initial fee to buy into a policy(lets say 30m, for example) and then every month a smaller fee would be charged aka your premium to renew the insurance package(say 5m, for example). In the event, a scam happens and the insurance provider has to cover the scam, then your premium would increase relative to the damages(lets say 5m to 10m, although really it depends how much the insurance already covered so the numbers will vary). Just like an actual insurance company assuming there is a constant stream of income from both old and new services not to mention the monthly fees you'd get this would ensure all scam victims could be reimbursed, and fewer services will shut down and possibly stop scamquitting under the pressure. Again please note I am not suggesting this be run by OSBot Staff; I am asking whether or not this could be a feasible if say a well known/trustworthy member of the community wanted to carry the burden would they be allowed to/recognized as a legitimate service or is there some rule I am overlooking that would not allow this to exist?
  12. Since some people don't understand how pattern detection works, I am going to try to explain it as simple as possible. Patterns are created with bots when they do the same thing over and over. Lets say for instance we are woodcutting. You start cutting the tree. When the tree is no longer available, the script switches to the next tree. And it keeps doing this. Over and over and over. This creates a pattern that we are switching the tree right when it falls down. Now how can we combat this? Well the first and most simple answer to come up would be "lets sleep for a random time AFTER the tree no longer exists." So now instead of instantly switching to the next tree, we sleep for a random time, lets say 1-5 seconds. So every time we cut a tree, we now sleep for 1-5 seconds (also keep in mind, there is no true randomization of numbers in coding). This still creates a pattern. Right when the tree falls down, the player sleeps for the same allotted time (1-5 seconds), and then continues cutting. Another option would be to create a random time based on the users RSN. Get a hash of their rsn, and create a random time to sleep for each person. Is this effective? No, your character will still be sleeping for an allotted time after an event happens. I have tested this method extensively over multiple accounts over multiple months and have had the same results as having no sleep at all. We can understand how a pattern is created better by looking at it like a heat map. So if there is no sleep, we get a red zone every time a tree falls, because it triggers the next event (cutting another tree). If we sleep for a random time, we still get a red zone between those allotted seconds and it still creates a pattern. I hope i have educated some people on how patterns work and how they can get you banned.
  13. Ok thanks guys. I appreciate the quick replies!
  14. Thanks very much guys for the speedy refund, hope both parties are content with the outcome. I will now remove @Kami from TWC and unlock his service thread. Along with this i will remove the negative feedback as his role in this process was to hold the payment. He does take responsibility for his workers mistakes however it is not him who completed your order therefore he should not be the one receiving the negative feedback as he has co-operated and fulfilled his role as the payment holder. Glad this was sorted quickly, Thanks Varc.

Probably neatest to have your entire GUI code in a seperate class. A simple way you can do it is using an actionlistener for your start button, reading the current options on the UI and assigning them to variables. Then directly statically (i know, ew, but ye) modifying the main classes set variables for that bot instance to reflect what was chosen in the UI. let me kno if i didnt answer ur question

    I go like this: boolean GUI_COMPLETE = false; exampleGUI gui = new exampleGUI(); @Override public void onStart() { gui.setVisible(true); } @Override public int onLoop() throws InterruptedException { if (GUI_COMPLETE) { //normal script loop; } return 50; // The amount of time in milliseconds before the loop // starts // over } public class exampleGUI extends JFrame { //gui code with an actionlistener on the start button which sets GUI_COMPLETE to true, and disposes the GUI. }
  29. Thanks for the report! I will fix this hopefully tomorrow, but I am preparing for a demonstration and presentation I have to deliver on Thursday, which is more important. But I will get around to it!

  37. I used to ask girls out on MSN all the time, if they said no i would say it was my friend or brother. I wasn't owning up to getting rejected my street cred would go down the drain
  38. That remains to be determined by staff. I fail to see how it'd only work in the situation. Insurance is insurance; Its sole purpose is to cover damages when mistakes are made in a way that would cost less than would be without insurance. Right and there are ways insurance fraud could be determined and even if someone succeeded there's such a small chance it'd be enough to put a dent into my funds(because while the loss is incurred id be making so much more from other members who invest in the insurance policy hence why insurance in real life works and is so profitable assuming you have enough customers). Not me though, like i said in earlier post I had two workers scam for around 35m each and let me tell you it sucked so hard to repay but I did it with no complaints. Same logic would apply here only id hardly ever lose my own current funds(my current rs07 bank being 120m in value). The money lost would be that of other insurance investors which I would use to pay for damages a service is covered for. combine this with the monthly fees I get and assuming a consistent customer base exist Id constantly be making money and lose very little along the way.
  39. *edited * Hero of Time wouldnt be able to post on 90% of threads then
  40. Maybe only that you can't see their replies, but rude and idiotic content should be dealt with by staff
  41. The issue is still pending, the website which contains my pathfinding data has went offline again, and I will replace it right now. The ENTIRE script depends on that one file, if it isn't there, the script will not work whatsoever. So I will update this post when I have fixed the issue. EDIT: Sorry for the wait, I promise the script will be flawless like it was, I am currently switching hosts and the update may take a few hours

  43. From what i calculate 17 quests out of 23 is around 75%. Meaning 75% of the order was complete. @Kami + @shai have agreed to refund the full 15.4M. Also i think it would be fair if the offer is on the table from the service to complete the remaining orders if @xwhip2agsx wishes. I am sorry that the Zerker was ruined but the account can still be used or turned into a different build if need be; and you will be receiving the quests which were completed for free in essence. From my perspective this is a reasonably fair outcome for both parties. If both parties agree to this we can then set a timeframe for the refund. Thanks, Varc.
  44. A youtube banner I made that would suite a gaming type channel, specifically FPS If any of you guys want feel free to use and if you want the PSD file in order to get rid of the watermark I can provide it.
  45. Do NOT add a sleep in the onPaint method OSBot subclasses the Canvas (specifically to override the getGraphics method) which allows us to paint directly over the game image buffer. Adding a sleep will not only make your paint update slower but also the game frame rate.
