  1. Hi, I understand this is thoroughly a Runescape botting website, but surely they're are members who also would like to make online money outside of Runescape, so why not add this monetizing section for guides such as the eBook I just released. I feel this would help get some traffic around the forums, and maybe even a little for money for newcomers to purchase vip and/or scripts in the future. - So why not? Add this section. /Discuss EDIT: Surely this would include rules that could be inforced. * No pornographic material, etc. * This will not be a section for marketing. (buying/selling monetizing guides). It will simply be a section of free monetizing methods, just to help out a little bit with players who need some money.
  2. The chat on OSBot is for people to come in and chill/relax. I think if somebody is being obnoxious and doing something that other people do not approve of, such as late at night on OSBot where some intellectual discussions take place. Basically, a vote to kick button in chat for a user that acts really immature and provides a not-so-fun experience for everybody else. The chat is for people to chill/relax, not have to deal with immaturity and become annoyed at the overall perspective of one specific person's actions. That user can do w/e he wants as long as he doesn't flame and the mods won't ban him from chat. I feel like a vote to kick button should be added so if the majority of users do not want another in chat, then they are kicked/time banned. Either that or if this user gets enough "votes to kick" it is reviewed by a moderator, and if he does, indeed, act immature, then the mods should temporarily suspend this user from the chat.
  3. I think we should have a 18+ section so that all the minors wont be able to see pornographic stuff but for those that feel the need to masturbate while botting can do it lolz like my post if you like the idea :P no jokes also no hater please just suggestion i hope this is not a inappropriate suggestion

  5. It has been hidden due targeting another member (you).
  6. Negative feedback should stay if you had bad experience, it doesn't necessarily mean they scammed or are a bad person, just means their product wasn't what they said or so on.
  7. support there should be a section for guide selling etc. would build the community also

I agree with what you say, veteran isn't really needed and there are too many ranks but i just want to say that veteran isn't just about the join date. Also I want the glow back
  9. Veterans do not receive lifetime VIP, only ex staff does. Veterans have no benefits.
  10. Weren't you just trying to boost Veterans perks?
  11. Before we get started on how to add the scripts, ensure you have the client downloaded. here's the download link for the client; Scroll down on the home page for the download! http://www.osbot.org Note: A friend of mine has released a .jar that actually moves local scripts to your OSbot folder automatically! Check it out at: http://osbot.org/forum/topic/33380-scrubs-script-installer/ - Courtesy of @TheScrub Heres a video if you do not wish to read the instructions; First up, SDN Scripts, they require NO download, all you have to do is purchase them from the store even if they're free it says purchase, and then the script is added to your client & account. Step 1: Choosing a Script,Go onto the store Section of the Website and choose the script/s that you wish to download. Note: The Repository/Store is constantly being updated with new scripts be sure to check it every once in awhile. Step 2: Purchasing and downloading the Script, once you have selected your script, click on it and you will get a screen like this; For free scripts For free scripts click on the button in the middle of your navigation bar at the top of your screen. And then from the subsection select a skill/area that you want your script to train under. For example; Agility Then click 'Add', Which will add the script to your account, make sure that you are logged in, otherwise this process will not work. If you wish to remove a script click the button that appears in place of the 'Add' button after a script has been added. For Premium scripts off of the Store. Once you find a script that you wish to purchase, click 'Add to Cart' After you've done that, there is one final interface before your scripts are added to your account. Agree to the Terms & Conditions and choose your Payment method then click 'Confirm Order' and you're finished, congratulations on adding your scripts FREE SCRIPTS ARE NOW LOCATED HERE http://osbot.org/mvc/sdn/scripts/ For 'Local Scripts' .jar Secondly, Local Scripts, (.jar & .groovy) the ones most new users do not know to add. NOTE: Ensure your Java is up to date and you have JDK (Java Development Kit) Step 1: Finding & Choosing a Local Script You must head over to the OSbot forum main page, and scroll down to Local Scripts. You then choose from the sub sections what kind of script you're looking for. For example, Combat & Slayer, Fishing & Cooking etc... Step 2: Downloading the Script (.jar) In this example I'm downloading the DicloniusMTA Script (My personal favorite) Once its downloaded head over to your C Drive then to 'Users', your user (Name etc...), OSbot, Scripts, and simply copy or drag the .jar file into the script folder from your downloads folder, once you've done this you've added the script NOTE: If you're struggling to find your OSbot folder, hit your start button and use the search bar to look for 'OSbot' and there it is Groovy Scripts are scripts where you have to copy the code into say, a Notepad file for example and save it as .groovy, and repeat the same process as .jar, by inputting it into your Scripts folder, I'd advise making a shortcut to it, to save time. If for some reason your script encounters an error, be sure to copy the error writing at the bottom of your client, the writing will look like something like this, followed by an error. By copying the log and posting it on the script thread, the scriptwriters can analyse the error and implement a fix. THIS IS FOR MAC USERS Credits to: @Blue Herbs To start out, open up finder Then click on Go and then hold the Option key which will show the hidden Library tab. Click on it. Make sure you are looking through your user. Then find the Osbot folder. Then click Scripts and drag and drop your newly downloaded script into that folder. You are done! I hope this was helpful for any new users If you have any questions feel free to PM me
  12. Hello everyone! With the release of Dashboard's SuperScript Factory, I have decided to make a giant collection of the best working scripts for it. I will be writing many of them, but if you have a good one, you can add it to collection. There are currently four scripts in it... Vial filler - over 150k/h Swamp tar collector - over 50k/h Suicide man thiever - thieves men in lumbrige chicken killer - picks feathers, good for starting obby maulers! Download link: http://up.ht/131XsUt More will be added as I make them! If you like this, could you please donate?
  13. But alas trolling is against the rules, there are quite a few people here who I'd love to troll I really miss pb Fuck Chris B
  14. I believe that if someone receives a negative feedback, that the user shouldn't be allowed to have it removed. First and foremost IT'S CALLED FEEDBACK "information about REACTIONS to a ......" That right there should win the argument. There is nothing that can go against it Feedback is how a user perceives the quality of the transaction. Feedback shouldn't be strictly whether the trade was completed successfully or not. If I am trading with a user, and they take a long time, they are very sloppy, etc. I should be able to leave a neutral feedback, and they shouldn't be able to have it removed. Or for ex. if someone tries to sell me 50m and they up the price literally as we're trading and won't agree to mm and all that sketchy stuff, I should be allowed to leave a negative feedback; and that feedback should STAY. As of now, feedback only represents how many trades the user has performed. It should show how well of a trader they are, and it should show the quality and customer satisfaction as well. Take a look at big market companies, such as eBay. Many users have tons of negative feedback, yet people still continue to trade with them. I don't see them going around whining to the eBay staff saying that they want all their negatives removed... They handle it properly, like how all osbot users should. They should contact the customer and ask what they could do to make it better. So, if a user wants their negative feedback removed, they should contact the customer asking what they could do to make their experience better, and they should post a thread where a mod will ask the the customer if it's okay to change the negative to a positive.

Currency section. It requires us to have a Gold Shop thread to get the Verified Transactor pip, I don't see why there is no verified currency section on OSBot.
  16. Yeah for real n1gg@ the trolling game here is weak as fuck Those quality troll posts just get removed because of butthurtness The commumods don't let us post anything that you couldn't have on Disney channel
  17. dont want to wait 14+ days for a payment they offered $15 though
  18. Negative feedback should be allowed to be given at the users discretion. For example, if I'm promised gold within 5 minutes of payment and it takes 10, I would leave a negative feedback if not compensated.
  19. It's more so the fact that when people are trying to have a nice conversation, this one user comes and ruins it. He takes everything we say, and becomes a "smartass" about it. His sentence structure contains 2 words per line, and it spams the chat. You may not have had a problem with him, but that's because you are hardly in chat when there are discussions that require thought within it. Enough with talking about a specific user, though, I'm just saying that if a MAJORITY of people do not want a person within the chat due to the fact of him being immature, then a moderator can review it and he can be temporarily banned. This way, it's not just people spamming the vote-to-kick and this user being kicked/temp banned for no reason. If the moderator sees he is actually ruining a conversation and being overall a terrible person to talk to, then I'd say he should be temporarily banned.
  20. Surely, however if we have moderators for this topic, false threads and old methods that don't work would be deleted pretty quickly. I've also been monetizing for a good 2 years or so, so I'm sure I'll know if a method works/not. We don't need the section in all honesty, it will just cause a lot of problems as said above. It just seems like to much drama, just because you've been doing it 2 years, doesn't mean your word makes it working or not, it would need to be tested by a staff member, which means any guide that comes has to be tested, so even if its ridiculous and a waste of time, every member has the right to sell any guide if its allowed. It would just cause staff to lose an hour or two a day. Also we have 4 moderators, two of them are super mods handling scam reports and ip checks etc. It is hard for them to squeeze in guide verifying. Then it becomes a market thing, their not allowed in the market, to middleman, or verify stuff. Therefore it wouldn't work anyways.
  21. i know there is another thread of people posting their speeds
  22. I think this would cause a lot of problems, such as guides not working, as we just seen recently with an unbanning guide. I think this will cause nothing, but problems. Especially because the guides will need to be tested anytime someone claims not working, which will include a lot of moderators times going to waste.
  23. Naw thats a little odd. If I want porn I can find it outside of OSbot. No need to discuss it with a bunch of dudes lol..
  24. RuneScape updated messed up your camera angles, takes 30-60 seconds for bot to click rift and glory, need an urgent FIX Bot is trying to click glory from this angle; (I moved to the side so my character wouldnt be seen in pic, but if u stand next to it, glory is even smaller so it's impossible to click it from that angle lol) And rift, same here; As you can see it's the same angle on both.
  25. i was honestly more excited for my internet connection at school then my actual course. unlimited bandwidth the school is its own ISP so it's fast and DOS protection xd

I was with someone for four years and she cheated on me with a 50 year old black dude. She was 19. I never thought I'd want to hit a women til then, but I didn't. I just cried for a while and did nothing for a few days except sleep. Then I grew a pair and went and started bailin out. Within a week in a half i slept with 3 diff girls bought 200 dollar shoes she always took my money. I never had so much fun for that few months. Now I'm married and I'm happy too, but the fun is a lot different now.
  27. this method is useful for stuff like withdrawing ring of duelings so u can have an array of strings and it will search the bank and find the first one if not it will find the second third fourth fifth etc... or potions private String getBankItem(String items[]) { String item; if (client.getBank().isOpen()) { Item[] bankitems = client.getBank().getItems(); if (items.length > 0 && items != null) { for (String correctItem : items) { for (int i = 0; i < bankitems.length; i++) { if (bankitems[i].getName().contains(correctItem)) { item = correctItem; return item; } } } } } return null; }
  28. Don't care for them at all. But TheScrub I Love it all man if shit like that were to get played on the radio I think this Generation might stand a chance.. But hey it least they got there...
  29. Stop advertising on his thread.

No - glow is annoying as hell. It should be restricted to staff only, if not removed completely. If you ask me, there are too many ranks on this website to begin with, and the Veteran rank is one that should be removed. Registering early is hardly an achievement.

OP here answers some of you questions/concerns: http://osbot.org/forum/topic/14820-handling-feedback-removal-wrong/ Some people just come here for the market, not to bot, not to post, and some come just to make an account just to buy/sell things really quick. I don't think there should be any sort of post limit/restriction for FBing. As for false feedbacks, it goes without saying that negative feedback should be accompanied with a scam report. If not, simple just report the feedback and a moderator will remove as easy as that. @ HELL NO to captcha, requiring link topic alone is already enough work. Captcha won't do anything to stop fake feedbacks anyways, just stop bots/automated systems which no one even really does anyways. No advertising has a WAY larger market than here and they don't have a catpcha system and are just fine.
  37. Please edit your post... You can't just talk shit on what someone believes in. Having a form of religion is having hope. And that hope helps a lot of people through life.. Don't ruin that for people. Lol? Ok so you wanna let the parents of children brainwash them into believing something fake, and then the kids will grow up and teach the same to theirs. That way they can't think for themselves. This world needs people that can actually think for themselves and ask... hmmmmm... does this make sense? And by having hope you mean worshipping someone who is not real and then going to church so you don't go to hell? Lol what horrible god would send the ones he "loves" to hell to be tortured for eternity? lmfao Faith = pure belief w/o evidence I believe in a form of deity above us. I've explored religions, and Islam makes the most sense to me, but is followed by the most backward people. Religion is just a map of "different" to get closer with god, and we all worship the same god.
  38. SshinigamiS' Guide to make scammers GTFO. Throughout the past few weeks, there have been many scams going on in this services section of Osbot. And in many cases, the apparent "scammer" always wins, as there is not enough sufficient evidence. This guide is for everyone that buys services such as Firecapes/Torsos/Powerleveling/Questing etc. 1. Initial precautions you must take. Check if they are currently in a dispute or not. If they are, do not use them for any service. Always ask for a PM, no matter what. Even if you're 100% sure you've added the right Skype name, ask for a PM via Osbot. It only takes a few seconds, and it prevents you from being scammed by an imposter. Put a bank pin on your account to secure your valuables. If you do not have a bank pin, or the service requires your bank pin - transfer your items to a mule. If you do not have a mule, you can ask a trusted MM to hold it if they're willing to, such as Skype, Occazn, Moderators/Admins, or even myself. Assess how trustworthy the service provider is. The less trustworthy they seem, the higher the chance that they may scam you. So leaving 2mil on your account for a person that joined yesterday with no rank/feedback/40 posts, you're asking for trouble. QUESTION THEM ABOUT ANY QUESTIONS YOU HAVE REGARDING THEIR ToS. Don't be afraid to ask questions, you're trusting them with your account after all. Make sure you are both on the same page of understanding when it comes to the ToS so there's no confusion. 2. What to do after you've decided you want the service done: Getting a middleman is an extremely good option. You give your osgp to a middleman, and the service provider completes your service. Once you've confirmed the service has been completed, the middleman gives your osgp to the service provider. 3. What MUST do. Gather evidence in case you're getting scammed. For Firecaping: Record/screen shot your Range XP, without any editing to the picture. Better yet, use a program such as "Hypercam" To record your stats. You can easily calculate the XP difference to check how many npcs they've actually killed. So they won't be able to say "I died at jad" when they've only gained 5k range xp throughout the whole service. First and foremost, upon logging in after the service, take a screen shot of the IP address. Taking a video/screen shot of your stats along with the conversation you're having with the service provider is the best way to prove they've scammed you (If they did). ASK THEM TO CONFIRM YOUR SKILL XP WHEN THEY'VE LOGGED IN (the skill xp that will be increased during the service), you can also ask them to confirm the items that you're trusting them with, even though you should've printscreened it already. Also, ask them to take a screen shot during the service too, it takes literally less than 2 seconds to take a screen shot, so it's not really asking for much. Even if people don't ask me for printscreens, I send them printscreens as a method of updating them on the progress. 4. What I personally do: I personally would never trust a newbie with anything over 1mil. If you do decide to trust a person that doesn't seem very "trusted" due to feedback or whatever, make them go welfare if you're paying for a firecape service. No need for a fury, use a glory. Archer's ring? No, ring of recoil. Ranger boots? No, Snakeskin. Ask them all the questions you want regarding the service, and see how they respond. If they give out a negative vibe, or an agitated response, that's generally not a good sign. Also, check if they know their stuff. Risk items that you won't mind potentially losing. I'm sure everyone has an amount they won't cry over if they get scammed. Don't go over that limit, unless you absolutely have to (depending on the service). 5. What's happened to me in the past: A newbie wanted to join my thread for Firecaping, and I geared up one of my accounts to see if he can get a firecape on it. Before I gave him the username/password, I decided to test his knowledge on the fight caves, in terms of luring methods/supplies/armour/stats etc. One of my questions was "How many super restores should you have used by the time you reach up to wave 30 on a 70def 74range 43pray account?" His answer was 6 full super restore pots. That means, he should gtfo and stop wasting my time. Someone told me they could help powerlevel my slayer legit, none botting. I asked how long for 20 to 77. He said a few hours. That = Gtfo. Make sure they're knowledgeable on the service they're providing. Question them. They're providing a service, they should know 100% about it. You can come to the Osbot chat room and ask if the information the Service Provider is stating is correct or not. Message to moderators/admins:
  39. Just read this thread. I heard it worked
  40. The client is down right now, as what @georqeee said it does say [OFFLINE] on it. The newest update broke the hooks, most oldshchool clients are down now.
