Hello everyone; I've been helping a few people out on Discord with their scripts and understanding the API and I've come to the conclusion that I'm just going to make my own video series covering everything you need to know to get a script up and running in OSBot. Each episode will be streamed on YouTube, then edited down to only the essential information, uploaded as a video and embedded into this page under its heading. The main topics will be listed below.   3. EDIT: If you are experiencing any clicking on current tile or spam clicking npcs, make sure to change the client back to fixed mode, and NOT resizable mode. If your target monster is just outside the multi-combat zone, there is no way we can tell, and the script will attack that monster. Make sure you are in a big multi-combat zone, careful! - Fight event is now dissected into smaller separate mini-events - Added a few unguided human behaviors to the script: should improve anti-ban. This is just stage 1 of the entire feature. More to come! - Hopping is now officially a script event, and has its own logic altogether, instead of relying on the single client method. - Looting bag is now featured as an option, instead of being auto-detected. (BETA) - Prayer flicking timer is now averaged between hits - Prayer flicking now turns off prayer as soon as you get hit - Prayer flicking averaged time is now taken into account in the new handler - (Prayer flick): When out of combat, the script will keep prayer on - (Prayer flick): When in combat, the script will hold the mouse near the quickprayer icon for faster selection Am currently working on more re-writes and improvements, as time goes on, various aspects of the script will be expanded and improved upon to support the latest ideas, suggestions, methods and whatnot. As for plugins: Working on a few awesome plugins which many of you have requested and will enjoy! I already have a few features for v235 (next update after this) in the works and almost completed, will be posting another update very shortly. I hope I didn't miss anything! Looting Tab Demo (From looting to alchemy, noted/stackable items too) You can choose whether to alch an item after looting it simply by enabling a checkbox, with a visual representation. All items are saved upon exiting the bot, for your convenience! Tasking Demo (Not to be confused with sequence mode, this is an individual task for leveling) You can set stop conditions, for example to stop the bot after looting a visage, you can have a leveling streak by changing attack styles and training all combat stats, you can have windows alert bubbles when an event occurs and an expansive layout for misc. options! Prayer Flick Demo (Just example, I made it faster after recording this GIF) There are two settings: Safe mode and efficient mode, this is safe mode: Fight Bounds Demo Allows you to setup the fight bounds easily! Simplified NPC chooser Either choose nearby (local) NPCs or enter an NPC name to find the nearest fight location! Simple interface, just click! Level Task Switch Demo (Switching to attack combat style after getting 5 defence) You can choose how often to keep levels together! e.g. switch styles every 3 levels Cannon Demo (Cannon is still experimental, beta mode!) Choose to kill npcs with a cannon, recharges at a random revolution after around 20-24 hits to make sure the cannon never goes empty too! Results Caged Ogres: How does this bot know where to find NPCs? This bot will find far-away npcs by simply typing the NPC name. All NPCs in the game, including their spawn points have been documented, the bot knows where they are. You can type 'Hill giant' while your account is in Lumbridge, and the bot will find it's way to the edgeville dungeon Hill giants area! Here is a visual representation of the spawn system in action (this is just a visual tool, map mode is not added due to it requiring too much CPU) Fight Area Example (How the bot searches for the npc 'Wolf') Walking System The script has 2 main walking options which have distinctive effects on the script. The walking system is basically a map with points and connections linking each point. It tells the script where to go, and decides the routes to take when walking to fightzones. Walking system 1 This uses a custom walking API written by myself and is constantly being updated as new fightzones are added. Pros: - Updates are instant, no waiting times - More fightzones are supported Cons: - Sometimes if an object is altered, the changes are not instant - Restarting the script too many times requires loading this webwalker each time which adds unnecessary memory (there is no way to make it only load at client startup since I don't control the client) Walking system 2 This is the default OSBot webwalking API - it is relatively new and very stable since the developers have built it, but is currently lacking certain fightzones (e.g. stronghold) and other high level requirement zones. It is perfect for normal walking (no object interactions or stairs, entrances etc) and never fails. Pros: - Stable, works perfect for normal walking - All scripters are giving code to improve the client webwalker - More efficient when restarting the script since it is loaded upon client start Cons: - No stronghold support yet - Some new/rare fightzones not supported yet - If there is a game-breaking update or an unsupported fightzone, it may take some time to add/repair (less than 24 hours usually) So which system should I choose? Whichever one suits your chosen fightzone best! There really shouldn't be any problems - the sole purpose of these options are for backup and emergency purposes, if the script ever messes up there is always the next option to select. Note: If the script ever fails, there will be immediate updates to fix the walking systems! Script Queue/Bot Manager: Script ID is 758, and the parameters will be the profile name that you saved in the fighter setup! Bug Report templates: New feature request - What is the new feature - Basic description of what the script should do - Basic actions for the script: 'Use item on item' etc. For when the script gets stuck on a tile (or continuous loop): - Which exact tile does the script get stuck on? (exact tile, not 'near the draynor village') - Plugin or normal script? - Did you try all 3 walking options? Script has a logic bug (e.g. dies while safespotting) or (cannon mode doesn't pickup arrows) - What is the bug - How did you make the bug happen - (optional) recommendation for the bug, e.g. 'make the script walk back' or something - Tried client restart? - Normal script or a plugin? - Which exact setup options are enabled? Afk mode, cannon mode, etc etc.

  12. It won't be the scripts fault you got banned, it'll be either down to being unlucky (being reported or flagged) or having bad botting habits. This script is capable of getting you 99's on multiple accounts in the right hands.

  13. Err I've been working on this project about 3 months or so at the moment. I knew how to build it because of previous projects I had made, have been programming in Java since I was 12, currently learning about all the design patterns/refactoring there are. Also studying Software Engineer at University at the moment. Well, I usually use .walkPath, but when a path has a door/ladder, it's kinda annoying to get around without getting stuck with about ~ 300 accounts, so for safety currently using webWalk for those interactions and might write some kind of API for this, because it's using quite some CPU and Ram.   19. From experience, if you run the script using mirror mode, the best way to get it to run smoothly, is to make sure you have your reacting time set to 50ms, also be sure your computer is actually powerful enough as when mirror mode runs into memory issues, it will more than likely crash

  24. Hi all, Looks like the latest OSBot release has caused some problems - it seems some client code was changed which shouldn't have been, which has resulted in these issues. I've had a look at the scripter chat and it seems the developers are aware and are working on a fix as i'm writing this. The issues will be fixed in the next build which should come soon, Most other scripts are also experiencing similar issues so i'd strongly suggest not botting until said build is released.   25. This happen after entering the house and during the bone placements on the altar. Found out it might be because rs is pretty laggy and this might stop the character automatically place the bones until it levels. So I do suggest making the script ask whether you're gaining xp or not, if not -> place bone on altar again.

  30. server.accept is blocking and returns a socket representing that connection so you can just do something like: final List<Socket> sessions = new ArrayList<>(); while (listening) { ... sessions.add(server.accept()); } You would need to have the listener on a separate thread so that established connections can process data / do IO operations. For more advanced data you could also look into sending binary data or serialization with something like Gson (helps a lot if you want to serialize and send objects across the socket). I like to subclass Socket and customize it a bit so you have more control over each session.

  31. Came across an issue not sure if its update related. When in ranging mode it doesn't do a good job picking up ammo from the ground. I tried tons of different combos in the loot section. None seem to be consistent on looting ammo. Also it wants to pick up ammo during combat sometimes when I turn that off in the setup . EDIT- Seems lately its picking up ammo like it should ????

Can you fix the minimap spam clicking glitch and how alching goes way too fast? haven't been able to use it lately because im afraid of a ban. trying to safespot ogres. i've noticed other people have similar issues, i did check some of the old misc settings, mouse leaving the screen. any settings i shouldn't use?

  45. bought the script today currently testing it out I was just curious why does he stand there when its on repair mode? sometimes doesn't even use all the logs I take out or he fixes some and stands there and takes a while to keep fixing

  46. When fighting monster in cages if I have teleport runes it is trying to click a teleport rune to attack the monster anyway to fix and just add left click it in the cage??@Czar
