Nah, the majority of the UFC fanbase actually thought Conor would win rofl

No they didn't. No real mma fan believed it. It's casuals like you who know nothing about either sport that just assume. I'm a die hard ufc fan and I watched everyone of conors fights and i knew he was gonna lose like this. He wears out late. He was successful with you laughing like that I know you watch neither sport. If a boxer is 49-0 and considered the best of all time and a 0-0 boxer who has never boxed professional beats him 3 rounds to 0 and then loses by a late 10 round stoppage. You are not knowledgeable in the sport of boxing or mms. You should be laughing at Floyd for letting it go 10 rounds. As conor would ko him in the first round in mma.

giving the first few rounds was part of mayweathers plan, and executed it like a pro boxer, all ups to mcgregor for the effort though.

Conor did amazing, I don't care what anyone says. Yes, Floyd won... but Conor put up one HELL of a fight. People were saying a second round knockout. Plus, Conor is the only one who had the balls to do something like this. But what you won't see is FLoyd going into the octagon.

are you trolling or what? problem here is Floyd wasn't the one that called Mcgregor out to be inside an octagon it's the other way around. however, on the hell of a fight part? man he put up hell of a fight in terms of not touching that ground l0l, ill say that much.

I enjoyed the fight you could tell what mayweather's plan was by the end of round 2 by the amount of punches he threw. He was be strategic and waiting for connor to slow down. But at the end of the day connor put up a good fight and did better than I thought he wouldn't I wasn't expecting a Ko or anything but wasn't expecting 10 rounds either way they both walked away with fat paychecks

Floyd said he would go to the octagon and kick his ass, but that will never happen. So no, I'm not trolling. You my friend have no clue what you are talking about.

Now, back to my point. Conor went out of his comfort zone and fought someone who has never lost a match (49-0). Conor did not hit the ground once, which you're absolutely right about. What I thought was even more interesting was that near the end of the 9th round, Floyd and Conor were 1 point apart. How are you going to say he didn't do an amazing job? For someone who is new to a sport, coming straight into it fighting one of the greatest boxers of all time, that is remarkable. However, Conor's biggest problem was he wasn't keeping his hands up. Besides that, he didn't do as bad as you are trying to make it seem. He was making contact with his jabs which seemed to be effective in catching Floyd off-guard, and would occasionally make full contact with his hooks. Floyd also had a hard time defending himself because Conor was really good at counter attacking from different angles; an advantage his MMA skills gave him.

So, if you want to continue to sit there on the band wagon and say that Conor did not put up a good fight, you are out of your damn mind.

the fact Mcgregor made it to the 10th round looked good in the first 3 rounds landing combos etc he did fucking well , if it was a fight in the ufc no doubt in mind it wouldn't go passed the 3rd round

by the way Floyd is the best boxer alive and someone stepping up to a 49-0 boxing recored with 0 experience in the boxing world if i was floyd ill be abit embarrassed i didnt ko him in the first 1-3 rounds

You just shared a link of him simply talking shit and selling the fight. However, when it comes down to it that wasn't apart of the plan. This was after the fact the contract was signed and the fight was sold. Also, you guys act like he wasn't suppose to get a hit on off Floyd at all or something so since he did it means he did an amazing job? Look I give the credit where it's do and Connor he's a badass all around but you fooking people make excuse after excuse for him. A fooking rookie could have lasted with Floyd possibly in some later rounds, beat up or potentially knocked out? Probably so but could have pulled it off. I'd say my point is all this "oh I'm gonna knock him out 4th round and "my fist is bigger than his head" was all bullshit. And I'd also like to add in The huge advantage  mcgregor had over Floyd. He better have fucking landed shots with all that damn reach, He made Floyd look like a fucking 12 year old child in terms of size.

Lets be honest here, people who knew anything about boxing/Mayweather said McGregor was gonna get slapped about the ring and even I thought he had no chance but lets be honest here, Mayweather is one of the best boxers to step in the ring and for McGregor to go 10 rounds with him and not sit back like a bitch is extremely impressive and the fight itself wasn't even that one sided, hoping for a fight in the Octagon next but unfortunately it wont happen, would love to see Conor box professionally though, could beat most out there with that performance and like @Project said, Conor deserves a lot of credit for stepping into the ring with someone as good as Mayweather and putting up in my opinion one of the most entertaining fights I have watched

Casuals like me? Now you're assuming you know anything about me. I followed both sports up until Mayweather's retirement and after that it's been UFC only with some occasional AJ and Jack fight (because he's Swedish). Yeah I know Conor gets gassed after a few rounds, he did it twice vs Diaz rofl and I knew there was no chance in hell he'd win but every Conorfanboy would call me a retard and swear on their mothers' lives that Conor would win.

Filthy casual who knew it'd go past 8.5 rounds and put his money were his mouth is unlike self proclaimed experts such as yourself.
