Disputed member: Me Thread Link: No link Explanation: Basically i moved out of my uni house on monday and found a sheet of paper with loads of my old accounts on there, i decided i would have a look and see if i could remember the passwords for any. I found one account with the login '[staff omitted]' the email had the username '[staff omitted]' jotted down with it, i never remembered selling this account and couldn't remember the password so i did some digging through old membership payments (yes i didn't used to use bonds i was a noob) and managed to recover the account. Little did i know i had changed the name of this account to '[staff omitted]' and had actually sold the account to @Transaction. I logged into the account and below you will see what i found on the account. I would like to say i was horrified when i realised what was on the account and the fact it was training slayer, it obviously struck me that i had hacked the account back. Now, i am unsure whom was in possession of the account but they had near 30M in the inv alone. God knows what was in the bank, i wanted to check to show a print screen that i have NO intention of scamming this person regardless of if they are banned or not, but there was a pin, i am reporting this now so i can safely say i have not submitted a bank pin change request and have taken NOTHING from the account, i want to return the account to the rightful owner, i would like you to hide the username so the person who can confirm the username on this thread can have their account back. I am deeply sorry that this has happened but it was honestly an honest mistake and lack of organisation of jotting down the accounts i have sold. I am no scammer and love this community, however i understand if i must be moved to TWC and if this is a bannable offence then so be it i am not above the rules. I left the account in Lumbridge as the account only had one days membership and was in a members zone. NOTHING on the account has been touched. Evidence: [omitted]

Introducing the Bidding War To make the SOTM more interesting we will start it off with a 3 day bidding war, this means that whoever bids the highest amount will get to decide what the theme for the SOTM will be and have the option to make the participants include the name of the highest bidder in the design, this amount will eventually go to the winner of the event. The theme will have to be approved by me to avoid troll suggestions. Currencies On the bidding we will only be accepting oldschool RSGP and credits through the OSBot voucher system, PayPal will not be accepted to avoid dealing with chargebacks. The current average rate of Oldschool RSGP/dollar is $1.5/1M. Customize Your Request To make things a little bit more interesting for the people bidding, starting from $30+ the higest bidder will have the ability to request a custom design to their liking. This will have to be approved by me first to keep things realistically and within the range of the correct pricing. More information regarding the participating designers, the actual design rules and prizes will follow tomorrow! Tbh, this idea seems really dumb... Why not have a poll for every SOTM/W for voting on the theme for the next one? I get if that a highest bidder produces a theme that a designer doesn't like, they don't have to enter but, why do we need to bid on a theme? Sure, winning the gold/credit is nice, but I don't think its necessary for a SOTM theme.

Very much possible. You just have to buy something that can run them. I have 2 dedicated servers I'm using to run a minimum of 20 bots via mirror. At 10 accounts per server, it uses like 7-8 out of the 24 cores it has and that's using mirror 1.055, the version that uses MORE cpu. I can't use the latest versions because of the object loading bug but if I was, it would be even less cpu.

this is why theyre not widely used. If it was only the title, it would have been fine. even for my pc with is i7 16GB ram it takes like 45 secs for it to get used to all the frames of the animation... but it is an amazing design

Golds crashed, the account has personal value as you have put a lot into it. If the right buyer came along you may get 25M if the items you have appeal to them. That could take a while to find that person, i advise you keep the account because it is a nice well rounded account

You should see that as a sort of donation, I've had a lot of PM's regarding the SOTW not being hosted for a while from both designers and non designers being very interested as well. So if there's the interest from people I'm sure some people are willing to bid on having the theme their way and donating to the cause? I could be completely off though, this is more of an experiment, if no bids are made I guess I'll have to rework all of this again. Ohh like that, yeah I'll edit that now. That might encourage more bidders.

This is extremely confusing. Why would someone bid just to make the theme their way? Could just be me though I suggest keeping it old school

I suggest making the winner of the bidding if the theme is for example a regular sig to have his name as the text for it therefor he will be able to get out with a signature.
