Okay, so I'm a little frustrated by the current status of things. After ver 42 rs update two days ago, there have been many problems with the OSBot 1.7.89 client. Many randoms are broken, the onMessage listener doesn't work, rotateCameraToEntity doesn't work, (possibly selectOption?) and probably other things that I'm not aware of since I don't use them in my scripts. (Please feel free to tack them on here). However, that's to be expected with rs updates. But from what I see, the Developers aren't really working on fixing OSBot 1. Yes, I know Maxi's having some personal life issues, but let's be honest, he wasn't really active on here even before that... And Laz is busy working on OSBot 2, which means that OSBot 1 is just hanging... Honestly, before OSBot 2 is out, keeping OSBot 1 up to date should be the priority... It's what most people are using after all... I made a post in the Script Developers section requesting that the dev open up the source, at least to several trusted scripters, so that they can step in and fix what's broken since the devs are apparently not going to, but @Alek just locked it... List of things I know to be broken so far: 1) RANDOMS 2) onMessage 3) typing 4) rotateCameraToEntity is buggy.

Ladies and gentlemen, I'm pleased to announce that I've been working very hard on OSBot's successor, OSBot 2. Many bugs have been fixed, the updater has been enhanced, and a wide new array of previously needed hooks have been added. Along with all this progress, we've developed quite a number of working randoms event solvers for OSBot 2. However progress isn't going as fast as we want it to go. I want to announce that we have plans for making the API open-source along with our random event solvers. Hopefully some of the scripters can add the features they want or still don't have. I am currently aware that OSBot 1 has a couple of unworking random event solvers. These will be fixed within the upcoming days. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Currently I'm 77 83 85 86 87 88 89 smithing, I'm in the process of smelting 89,000 250,000 iron ores into bars and then after they are smelted i will be smithing them into 445,000 1,250,000 iron knives to reach as high of a level with iron knives as i can so that i can start making rune items with smithing By the way this is all being botted, My buddy has coded me two bots, one for smelting in port phastmys or however you spell it and one for smithing the knives in varrock. 250,000 iron ores to smelt into bars after crafting a couple hundred rings of forging (have to enchant them too) I'm running breaks at every 8-12 hours and for a length of 6-10 hours long per break. I'm currently smelting 8,600 bars per day minimum (that's 10 hours work right there). This might take a while (29 days to be exact at the rate of 8600 bars per day). But in the long run it will get me 99 smithing and a 55m profit. Hopefully I don't get caught . The smelting process was finished 5 days faster than i thought it would be so now I'm way ahead of time and can begin my smithing knifes which shouldn't take more than 5 (my bot broke for a period of days and now i am catching back up by botting extra) days to do all 1,250,000 knifes. Woke up today with a gnarly ear infection, pulsing like crazy. Since I'm 21 and don't have insurance I don't really want to pay money out of pocket, I am wondering if you guys know of any at home remedies for ear infections that I could try

You should add activateSpecial() to the broken list too. But I completely agree! I Honestly feel they need to stop with this OSBot 2 crap, because really nothing noticable about it is better than OSBot, and you could argue "Well its still early in development", though personally if it's such a improvement, we should be able to at least some noticable difference, and the only noticeable differences are negative. So I'm not sure OSBot 2 is going to solve any problems, just create more than what we already have. I feel they should still be developing OS1 because its no where near prefect and never has been, so don't dig a deeper hole your already in.

first it were only the randoms that were broken, now i cant even use ATmercher anymore because it doesnt type anything. instead of this client is getting better its getting worse, and to be honest i dont think this fix is such a big issue. i never complained about this kind of things but now im pretty upset that such a fix has to take so long.

Normally in these "PM trap" situations, both parties would be at fault and I would request that @Divica compensate @Trustmybet with at least 50% of the gold amount, but due to the circumstances, this isn't an option. @Trustmybet, it is because you didn't check the screenshot @DivicaBen sent to your account that you were scammed. If you had only opened it up and checked the conversation details, this could have been avoided completely. I would personally say there is nothing we can do and close this dispute, but I'm going to confirm with my colleagues that this is the best route to take. Thank you all for cooperating.

I've confirmed via skype resolver that both the Skypes are owned by @ILoveBot. He's been banned until he explains himself via appeal. Thank you, @RoomScape.

Check and make sure you downloaded the latest java. Are your scripts out of date? Try removing them and adding them back. Still not working? Then chances are, you have java 1.8 installed. Osbot does not work with java 1.8. Go to the control panel on your computer, go to "uninstall a program", and look for java. Look for java 1.8 or java 8. Pretty much you want to uninstall anything that isn't java 7 update 51. After you've done this, load Osbot. If you get an error saying "failed to inject client", close out and retry. Keep retrying, it should work eventually.

Don't buy accounts from people who haven't got a ton of Market reputation. Even then take all precautions.

We all knew it was coming.. 1) After he resigned, he got heavy in the market. 2) After he abused his CBA position for market purposes, he became more troll toward osbot and their staff. 3) He started mini riots here and there IE: Raf4Red, Maldesto4Demote etc etc 4) His Ex-Staff was removed 5) He became even more like a 10 year old seeking attention and causing havok where ever he could. 6) All the staff on OSBot turned to dislike him along with the mature part of the community 7) Leads to scam quitting. 8) Brags about it to someone 9) Person spreads rumour Happens too often.

Forgot to mention that i tried this. Thank you though. To fix this issue where it hangs on "Loading local scripts" and doesn't open the client, un-install java 8. I never installed it, but it was there somehow. So this thread is solved and can be marked as such. Thank you.
