So if you get disconnected, that's probably what happened. Refresh the page and you'll be good to go. When I have multiple chrome tabs I can see it if its on the left side (like the last chatbox) but not on the right side. It is clearly not your fault the old one isn't useable anymore, happy you invested time into developing a new one to keep the chat alive.
