A lengthy discussion (cropped down) after a member had a swastika as his profile picture: Edit: He also requested to be banned.5 points

You don't need a rank to help out. You just help out. If someone is helpful, they will be noticed with or without a rank.4 points

That guy was being disrespectful and vituperative. Not to mention ignorant. Toxic scumbags like that don't belong on this forum. I stand by @Alek's response 110% Good riddance in my opinion.2 points

Earlier today, my friend and myself were walking to a class, we saw a bathroom sign and got the idea of writing on it. (I can't take credit for it he had the idea) I looked around, no one was near, grabbed my sharpie, and wrote this. Notice the claws on the man.1 point

First things first I think you need to be more clear as to what you're trying to do with the trap, bird traps have 4 states: Layed (Waiting for Bird to smoke) id = 9345 Smoked (Failed to catch crimson) id = 9344 Caught (Caught the Crimson) id = 9373 Fell down (This is a GroundItem now) id: 10006 With the ID you provided in the OP you are trying to do something with the "Layed" trap which doesn't really make sense but hope this gives some clarity: I'll give you a snippet of what's in my Divinity Birds script which works perfectly: RS2Object setTrap = closestObjectForId(9345); if(setTrap != null){ if(setTrap.isVisible()){ setTrap.interact("Dismantle"); sleep(random(700,1200)); } else { client.moveCameraToEntity(setTrap); } }1 point

http://osbot.org/forum/forum/111-shoutbox-ban-appeals/ Change that to "Chat Box ban appeals" If we call it the Chat Box in the navigation bar then we should have the appeal name as that too. Also, it is the IPB Chat application - which is completely different from the shoutbox hook.1 point

Finally the main exam for this semester is over! If i passed, i am done till september ( just a few small tests, no big deal ) If i failed, i have to step up again in the end of june. In general i have a good feeling Also i am accepted for a very cool summer job i applied for : I am going to work as holiday rep (entertaining) in magic life clubs First i have to fly to Frankfurt (Germany) to get enrolled, and then i get the destination where i fly to for 1 month in end of july . This could be a normal family destination or if i am lucky a class trip after graduation Egypt, Turkey, .... Both would be very cool! Wanted to share a bit more of my life with you1 point

Either way moderation is voluntary work. We don't get paid for it at all (Besides when @Maldesto rewards people OUT OF HIS OWN POCKET when he doesn't have to, take into account that he has a family of his own to provide for). We do have powers but like people have reiterated already. Ranks are not needed to help others. The only difference is we have the ability to lock/hide/move/edit topics and can ban members; access to Mod/AdminCP as-well. Helping people on the forums is also 'voluntary work' just without the formal perks. If a member stumbles across a problem they themselves cannot help with due to the fact they don't possess moderator permissions. They can simply 'report' the post if its on a thread and it appears in our report center, or private message a staff member. Its very rare occurance for NO staff members to be active at any one time, in-fact its unheard of. And for this reason, I'm not going to say I'm against the idea, but I'm not for it. Neutral.1 point

@Alek is straight up gangster. I remember this guy telling me that suicide was good for the gene pool when I warned him not to tell people on the forums to kill themselves multiple times lol.1 point

I think @Master Chief used to have a PiP or something similar. I wouldn't be opposed to it if the community finds it would be useful.1 point

Cry about it, this thread is pointless. it's a fuckin forum for fuck sake what do you expect people to do?1 point

this concept is wild at least in my mind RsGp in fourm Basicly, you have 10m in game. you give that money to a mod/admin <---- Verified user they but 10m in your osbot account on your profile it shows you have 10m in you "wallet" you then purchase a service/ gfx/ account/ ect you send ur "osbot money" to the other user they complete order they then contact a mod/admin/ verfifed user to trade back there osbot money for rsgp Q:What are the benefits to this? A: Scamming is much harder because the money is in your account so until all services are done you cant withdraw money1 point

Hey everyone, I've got my eye on the Scholar rank. I'm looking for a project that I can "Show off" my skills in software development. Any ideas? I'm looking for general ideas so I can do sort of a "out of the box" spin off. Thanks! EDIT: I should add that I sort of want something that the community would see as "practical"1 point

The ONLY successful way I've found to never be banned on 07 is pretty much the simplest way too: Bot ONLY past 12 am GMT and for around 8 hours, no matter how tempting it is to go past that. I botted 2 days at a remote area that no one visits and was fine. The ONE day that I decided to bot over-night, which is when Jmods are most frequent in my time zone, I got banned. They usually ban around 3-8 AM PCT. The 8 days I've been botting fine have all been during 4 PM-12 AM PCT, which is about 12 - 8 AM in Cambridge where most of the Jmods are so they're usually sleeping during those times. Luckily I live in California and get off school at 3 PM which is perfect for bot running. Happy botting! P.S: I also play with the settings "Player info" on and use a lowly populated US world.1 point
