February 23, 20187 yr Generally this only affects the top socket, its wired that way for lamps and etc in rooms without fixed lighting. Move it to the other socket and its no longer an issue.

Worst case, tape the switch. This isn't a downside to botting, this is what we call at work an ID 10 T error, or a PEBKAC.
