September 20, 20178 yr Am I the only one who actually watches topics for updates? And when someone actually is talking on a topic it's close to always a newcomer asking for trials. Why don't the staff accept adding extra "trial" scripts with like 30-60min runtime once per account or something? And adding anti-abuse 30 post limit for trials or something. If this doesn't work or is allowed it's fully understandable, but why if that's the case? Edited September 20, 20178 yr by Swedens
September 20, 20178 yr There is usually one master script that the actual scripter themselves use for trials. But mainly all the like me post in the main topic because either too lazy to look for the master, or they don't know about it. https://osbot.org/forum/forum/334-private-scripts-trials/

And yeah, if the scripter doesn't have a trial topic the only way out is posting on the topic, which I also do. Edited September 20, 20178 yr by Swedens
September 20, 20178 yr Me and @Shudsy started devloping a modification to my user activated authing by including scripter modifyable user limits (post count, acc age, user groups) and instant user auth (they post their id on the site and it auths them instantly on osbot) . But the majority of scripters like the free bumps the "trials plz" give tho. A 3rd party solution is underway but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Example of it working is here actually, just missing the modifyable limits rn; http://shudsyorber.esy.es/ Edited September 20, 20178 yr by Zappster
September 21, 20178 yr not a bad idea or maybe under scripts for example it has BUY and info just add a 3rd option with 12hr trail done easy as fuck one off thing add a age/post count to require it done
September 21, 20178 yr Administrator I think we all are, but that is up to the script writers, if they want to sell less scripts by giving trials out to people to use their script for 24 hours and never use it again or make multiple accs so they can get more trials, so be it. They think it gets them more sales, but it doesn't.

September 21, 20178 yr I try to use topic liking to determine those who wants trials, but although I have clear instructions, there are still people who prefer a written response and just ask instead. As for having an automated system, this would be nice however the anti-abuse is the big problem and posts is certainly not the way to determine it. (Most people who buy scripts here probably have never even looked on the forums let alone posted anything). There's no easy solution unfortunately!
