Why have skirts become only acceptable for woman to wear even though man usually need a bit more space down there?

As a male with a large penis im wondering why its not socially acceptable for males to wear skirts. Not only would be be more comfortable to wear it due to more space for your genitals but also in a formal workplace in summer its really unfair that man have to sweat like pigs wearing shirts and pants while woman can just wear a skirt.
