I feel your pain man. When I was seven I really didn't understand what was going on with my mom. She had lung and brain cancer so her days were limited but I was just under the impression she was sick. She called one day and said "you don't wanna come visit mom?" and I said no because I was too involved with my games and that was the last memory I had of her. It'll haunt you for a while, but then you let the good times take over. Cherish those moments you remember with her, it'll help brighten your day up- ZapNightmareZone - 24/7 NMZ - Buys Pots / Starts Games / Flicks

I purchase only Vanguard. Started this in high school with around only $8,000. I'm up to 15k now and climbing. Do some research in ETFs/index funds etc. ELI5: VTI is a total market stock which is valued based on how well overall the markets are and VYF has value in select interests like oil (I forget which specifically) and is based on how well they're doing BUT they also give a small dividend at the end of the year (like .04%?) which is nice. I hold these shares though, don't let go. My portfolio: - Buying 20-25m $1/m VPP.
