Dear Community of Osbot I am disheartened to bid my farewells to you thus i will keep this short and sweet. I will be leaving Osbot to explorer other ventures in the RS07 botting scene thus i will no longer be an active member of this community ie i will probably not release a script for osbot in the foreseen future so please respect my decision to do so. I will always have a special place for Osbot in my heart it has help shaped me into the person I am today with it's warm and welcoming community.I will always remember my time on Osbot as a special time of my life full of fun and adventure as-well as sadness and hatred but let's not focus on the negative. Hello community, As Zach posted earlier, the development team has been working FULL-TIME for the past couple of days on the new server backend that handles OSBot. This new server will fix the "Already online" issues which many of you have experienced and will also make the fail-rate on loading script lists and starting scripts nearly zero! We've updated the minor version of OSBot to 2.2.X. We're starting out on version 2.2.2 instead of 2.2.1 because 2.2.1 was leaked for a few seconds on the download page and further patches were implemented. Also some bugs have been fixed with the API... Arrows/Rings equipment slots have been fixed. Turns out they were swapped in the last build. my point wasnt related to the code. It was pointed squarely at the fact that nothing on walking for OSB2 existed for new members until i posted it the other day but then all of a sudden after there which two new threads were made on the same subject, nothing against Swizz or Jose of course nice work guys. I just wish we all posted more open content that others can use in the future to make basic scripts for the new client. When i first joined there was a swath of content to learn from. It seems with OSB2 scriptwriters are trying to keep things they know private so others struggle or even start to learn and they then make more money. (The incident in the scriptwriters section the other day was a perfect example.) A community based around a profit will die sooner rather than later and just lately the taste around here is becoming rather sour, and i for one don't like it. said my bit, now guna fade back into the black.

The following is a simple standalone tool I made to help resolve/identify some common osbot issues. Osbot Client: This is the current state parsed from the forums. If the forums are unreachable, it will tell you that. Osbot Database: If this is false it means either osbot is down for everyone or you have a firewall on your computer or router blocking access. Runescape: weather or not runescape is reachable/online Java version: If false uninstall your current versions and install java 7 (1.7) Check Osbot Jar: It will check the selected osbot file 1 or 2 for any corruption. This uses md5 to verify it. Delete Osbot Data: This will delete the entire osbot data folder. This sometimes fixes problems if the files in there become corrupt. Cannot be undone. I think everyone is here for the money but alright . Woodcutting: There are 3 yew tree's and 3 magic tree's in the area, Profit can take up to 150k/h! Mining: There are 3 gold ores, around 12 coals,a few adamant ores and some iron ores in the area. Fishing: There is only one fishing spot, You can fish here dark Crabs. Now you probably ask, How can you bank? There's a dude called 'Piles' and he will node your items. He will ask around 1250 gp for banking. BABYSIT THE SCRIPT, Script will be free.

Decided to make a little statement of what I believe of how Jagex detects bots and so forth. Yes, there may be other reasons as well and this is NOT A THEORY, but like I said, it's just what I think. I believe that Jagex detects the movements and patterns of scripts to detect our bots that we use today. Here's a good reason why that might be the answer: 1. Scripts: Free scripts are used from hundreds of people from sponsored members to vip members to leechers. We all have used free scripts before and we know that it will most LIKELY get you banned or it does not run flawless which will lead to bans if Jagex sees you with a broken script and just standing there for 24 hours. OF COURSE they'll know not human is just standing there like that for many hours. 2. Private Scripts: Creating private scripts are much much better because in scripts that are used a lot today has already been detected by Jagex due to the same patterns that multiple accounts are doing. In a matter of time, they will easily detect the patterns of the script you're using and using a private script will come in handy as you're the only person who uses the pattern. 3. Client issues: We all have known or discovered our bots breaking or dying from randoms. This is a huge issue and one of the main reasons of how we get banned today. Most of the time you will die and spawn in lumby or somewhere else for plenty of time. No human being just stands at the same spot for a long time unless you're some weird kid IDK. An example would be the sandwhich lady random. If you pick the wrong item, she teles you somewhere in runescape. Most of the time you get banned for being at the tele spot too long. Another example would be the prison pete random. No human being would take more than an hour to complete the random. Thats ridiculous. 4. Botting without breaks: Most of us have realized or bragged about having over 100 hours+ proggies. Well, you know you're lucky as well. Jagex will detect accounts that are on for a long period of time. Most people don't play runescape for over 40 hours straight if so, Idk what's wrong with you bud. Anyways, Botting without breaks for over 50+ hours is most likely asking for a ban on your account. VERY FEW PEOPLE GET AWAY WITH THIS. Make sure to use your breaks! Thanks for reading this. I have now completed 100 easy clues, I will leave the bank tab, setup, and other info. However, I have decided to not go for 100 easy's, not yet at least. My new plan is to grind 100 medium clues, and do exactly what I did with the easy's. (Posting setup, progress, etc, below the easys. The end goal is to have Loot from 100 easy, medium, hard, and elite clues. Making this a the thread to rule them all. (Sorry that nerdy reference...) I will say that seeing people post with support and the likes on the thread, really really motivate me, and appreciate that has done so in the past. I appreciate any and all support while I do these. A lot more. If RS used opengl/directx, maybe the graphics card will be used. But it doesn't. The graphics calculations are done with CPU cycles. I have a graphics card in my desktop and it's never went above 10% load while botting. I'd test the new client, except I'm at home right now and my desktop is in my dorm. Laz, explain please.

It's all about CPU management. That math is quite heavy, especially if you call it every time the onPaint refreshes :p
