Dear Community of Osbot I am disheartened to bid my farewells to you thus i will keep this short and sweet. I will be leaving Osbot to explorer other ventures in the RS07 botting scene thus i will no longer be an active member of this community ie i will probably not release a script for osbot in the foreseen future so please respect my decision to do so. I will always have a special place for Osbot in my heart it has help shaped me into the person I am today with it's warm and welcoming community.I will always remember my time on Osbot as a special time of my life full of fun and adventure as-well as sadness and hatred but let's not focus on the negative. Hello community, As Zach posted earlier, the development team has been working FULL-TIME for the past couple of days on the new server backend that handles OSBot. This new server will fix the "Already online" issues which many of you have experienced and will also make the fail-rate on loading script lists and starting scripts nearly zero! We've updated the minor version of OSBot to 2.2.X. We're starting out on version 2.2.2 instead of 2.2.1 because 2.2.1 was leaked for a few seconds on the download page and further patches were implemented. Also some bugs have been fixed with the API... Arrows/Rings equipment slots have been fixed. Turns out they were swapped in the last build. my point wasnt related to the code. It was pointed squarely at the fact that nothing on walking for OSB2 existed for new members until i posted it the other day but then all of a sudden after there which two new threads were made on the same subject, nothing against Swizz or Jose of course nice work guys. I just wish we all posted more open content that others can use in the future to make basic scripts for the new client. When i first joined there was a swath of content to learn from. It seems with OSB2 scriptwriters are trying to keep things they know private so others struggle or even start to learn and they then make more money. (The incident in the scriptwriters section the other day was a perfect example.) A community based around a profit will die sooner rather than later and just lately the taste around here is becoming rather sour, and i for one don't like it. said my bit, now guna fade back into the black.

The following is a simple standalone tool I made to help resolve/identify some common osbot issues. Osbot Client: This is the current state parsed from the forums. If the forums are unreachable, it will tell you that. Osbot Database: If this is false it means either osbot is down for everyone or you have a firewall on your computer or router blocking access. Runescape: weather or not runescape is reachable/online Java version: If false uninstall your current versions and install java 7 (1.7) Check Osbot Jar: It will check the selected osbot file 1 or 2 for any corruption. This uses md5 to verify it. Delete Osbot Data: This will delete the entire osbot data folder. This sometimes fixes problems if the files in there become corrupt. Cannot be undone. Wildy resource Start in edgeville with a knife in your inventory and around 20k coins. What can you do with this script? There are 3 skills you can train here(Fishing,Woodcutting & Mining). I think everyone is here for the money but alright . Woodcutting: There are 3 yew tree's and 3 magic tree's in the area, Profit can take up to 150k/h! Mining: There are 3 gold ores, around 12 coals,a few adamant ores and some iron ores in the area. Fishing: There is only one fishing spot, You can fish here dark Crabs. Now you probably ask, How can you bank? There's a dude called 'Piles' and he will node your items. He will ask around 1250 gp for banking. BABYSIT THE SCRIPT, Script will be free.

Decided to make a little statement of what I believe of how Jagex detects bots and so forth. Yes, there may be other reasons as well and this is NOT A THEORY, but like I said, it's just what I think. I believe that Jagex detects the movements and patterns of scripts to detect our bots that we use today. Here's a good reason why that might be the answer: 1. Scripts: Free scripts are used from hundreds of people from sponsored members to vip members to leechers. We all have used free scripts before and we know that it will most LIKELY get you banned or it does not run flawless which will lead to bans if Jagex sees you with a broken script and just standing there for 24 hours. OF COURSE they'll know not human is just standing there like that for many hours. 2. Private Scripts: Creating private scripts are much much better because in scripts that are used a lot today has already been detected by Jagex due to the same patterns that multiple accounts are doing. In a matter of time, they will easily detect the patterns of the script you're using and using a private script will come in handy as you're the only person who uses the pattern. 3. Client issues: We all have known or discovered our bots breaking or dying from randoms. This is a huge issue and one of the main reasons of how we get banned today. Most of the time you will die and spawn in lumby or somewhere else for plenty of time. No human being just stands at the same spot for a long time unless you're some weird kid IDK. An example would be the sandwhich lady random. If you pick the wrong item, she teles you somewhere in runescape. Most of the time you get banned for being at the tele spot too long. Another example would be the prison pete random. No human being would take more than an hour to complete the random. Thats ridiculous. 4. Botting without breaks: Most of us have realized or bragged about having over 100 hours+ proggies. Well, you know you're lucky as well. Jagex will detect accounts that are on for a long period of time. Most people don't play runescape for over 40 hours straight if so, Idk what's wrong with you bud. Anyways, Botting without breaks for over 50+ hours is most likely asking for a ban on your account. VERY FEW PEOPLE GET AWAY WITH THIS. Make sure to use your breaks! Thanks for reading this. I have now completed 100 easy clues, I will leave the bank tab, setup, and other info. However, I have decided to not go for 100 easy's, not yet at least. My new plan is to grind 100 medium clues, and do exactly what I did with the easy's. (Posting setup, progress, etc, below the easys. The end goal is to have Loot from 100 easy, medium, hard, and elite clues. Making this a the thread to rule them all. (Sorry that nerdy reference...) I will say that seeing people post with support and the likes on the thread, really really motivate me, and appreciate that has done so in the past. I appreciate any and all support while I do these. Hello and welcome to my first ever guide. I hear so many people asking "what are you alching" or "how do I alch to not loose profit". Well unfortunately there is a short and simple answer: You cant, well unless you do other things to help your cash stack taking a dive. First method: Buy all nature runes and all alchable materials. This is the most expensive method. Second method: Choose a skill that will provide a huge amount of materials, such as crafting or fletching, even mining and smithing. Third method: Craft your own nature runes. Fourth method: Develop a skill you can pump cash back into your stack, such as killing druids and herblore. First method: Not much to say about the first method, pretty stupid but if time is not you cup of tea, then this is the way to do it. Second method: Now this all boils down to what skill you want as a high level, but also what you are going to do in the skill. First off fletching, if your planning on cutting your own logs, consider you will need the wc level as well. So your one skill has turned into two skills. However you can buy your own logs. You also need bow strings to complete the bow. The bad thing with fletching is, you will need a high level to produce an alchable bow (yew). Right now yew logs are 450 gp ea, Bow strings are 130 gp ea, Thats 580 gp for 1 yew longbow. Plus the cost of the nature rune 220 gp Thats 800 for a completed Yew longbow. It alchs for 768. So we loose 32 gp each alch. This is VERY fair only 32k per 1k alchs. So thats buying all materials and making them ourselves. I f you wanted to gather the materials yourselves just subtract the cost form the final alch price. Most people would choose to get their own flax and make bowstrings. Lets take a look at magic longbows Right now magic logs are 1280 gp ea, Bow strings are 130 gp ea, Thats 1410 gp for 1 magic longbow. Plus the cost of the nature rune 220gp Thats 1630 for a magic longbow not as good as the yew longbow we loose quite a bit more. It alchs for 1536, so we loose 94 per alch. 94k for 1k alchs. So thats fletching remember if you decide to choose this method you will need at least high 70s in fletch to start making decent bows to alch. Another skill that is good with alching is actually crafting. (my preferd) Crafting is a good skill overall, giving you the ability to make dragonhide armour, either to alch or to sell, battlestaffs wich are awesome to alch in low numbers, and loads of different types of rings and amulets. What to alch with crafting you say? Gold braclets of course! They are also super low level to make, and quicker than fletching. When you have a high crafting level it easy to re-make your losses with alching. Example. 1 gold bar is 180 gp ea Nature rune 220 gp ea Thats 400 gp ea Gold bracelets alch for 330 gp so we loose 70gp per alch 70k per 1k alchs. But if you have a high craft level you can make battlestaffs, to pump cash back into the stack. Or even obtain dragonhides to craft vambraces to alch. 1 battlestaff is 7k Make your own orbs and charge them (you gain magic exp to) Orbed battlestaffs alch for 9300 each giving you about 2k profit per alch, do this 100 times per 1k alchs and you make about 150k profit!! Ask yourselfs the question, Do I want 80 fletching or 80 crafting? If you choose to do crafting, a usefull quest to do is Hand in the sand, it allows you to get 80 buckets of sand deliverd to your bank each day. (Very helpfull for battlestaffs). Also to obtain seaweed, go to catherby and trade with the charter members there. They stock both seaweed and soda ashes. If you choose to fletch a good a bank to do it at is pest controll with no randoms. Also allways be sourcing your next load of logs/bowstrings while making them its faster that way. Third method, crafting your own nature runes. I dont know many people who do this, other than for exp. However it is possable, but I would not reccomend for high amounts of nature runes. Fourth method, Just getting cash to restock your stack, could be loads of different things, dragon bones/hides, herbs (ranarrs) or just killing monsters for drops. Some good ones include: Flesh crawlers, herbs, half keys, noted iron ore, gems, nature runes, massice amounts of fire runes. Chaos druids, Lots of herbs, secondary ingrediants (snape grass), mithril bolts, laws runes, good amounts of air runes. Ankous, Blood and death runes in the 100s per run, pure essance, adamant arrows, laws, herbs, they drop food to =) More helfull info: Dont use osbot for macroing alching, use an auto clicker in pest controll bank, windows: Autoclick by garys hood. Linux: Automouseclick by murguu. Mac, Isnt this UNIX based?? ^^ For crafinting a good furnace is the ectofile place (town) best in game. Allways plenty of gold bars on zybezz, people use gold ore to train their smithing. Somtimes its hard to get both logs and bowstrings at the same time, making you *jobless* untill you can buy more. Just letting you know, the ban-rate is more dependent on the script itself. If your script you're using has a good anti-ban, then I wouldn't worry. Change your breaks every time you bot, otherwise say goodbye to your account. If JaGeX sees that your account is logging in and out at those hours every day, they're going to know you're botting.
