Today I made a few changes to the Forum. I was hoping to get some feedback from the community as to what could be added, changed, merged, or removed from these changes. Firstly, I added a new category entitled 'Development'. The pictures (below) are quite self-explanatory: I might be adding a programming (non-script related) section under "Scripting" soon, if that is what the community desires. Here is the API section (Development > Scripting > API): Next, in the services section, I split up the services into Runescape related (post them in the 'Services' section) and Non-Runescape Related (here) services. It was a wonderful idea I received from @Pink Clay that I felt should be implemented. I have yet to move any of the threads yet - I will be waiting for the input of the community before doing so. Furthermore in the Services section, I added "prefixes" and "tags". The prefixes are as follows: (waiting for Maldesto to get online so I can post HTML, picture of all of them here) Account creation - Account Creation All-In-One - All-in-one Defender - Defender Firecape - Firecape LoL Boosting - LoL Boosting Other - Other Powerleveling - Powerleveling Proxies - Proxies Questing - Questing Skillcapes - Skillcapes Torso - Torso Tutorial Island - Tutorial Island Void - Void VPS/VPN - VPS/VPN If there are any more prefixes you would like to see added for the Services section or any color changes to the above ones, post in this thread. The "tags" are essentially further specification of prefixes. If you were to have, say, questing and powerlevelling services, you would choose the prefix of "All-in-one" and then add the tags of "Questing", "Powerleveling". A visual representation follows: The tags are similar, if not the same, as the listed prefixes. Another thing I added was something to display these prefixes below the Forum as categories. In other words, if you click one of them, it will list all of the threads with the prefix that you selected. For this, I had to go through and manually add each prefix and tag to the threads in the Services section. Special thanks to @Eliot for helping me with it! It is an easy radio-button enable/disable feature, so there is no wasted work power occurring if most of the community does not like it. Changelog I added the following prefixes to the Account > Sell section: Fresh account (lvl 3 account) Main account Other account Skiller account Credit to for the above change. So far I'm not impressed. Uploads on the SDN are the backbone of OSBot and should be given top priority. Tomorrow will be a week since I requested a script on the SDN and it hasn't even been viewed yet. It bothers be that the problem with SDN uploading that has risen in the past week hasn't even been made public. And from my knowledge, it's been going on for a few days and it still hasn't been fixed? Seriously, this is how you make money! Do you not like money? you sure are delaying your own profits by not dealing with the problem at hand! Seriously, a WEEK to upload a script to the SDN? If Alek's is extremely bogged down, that's no problem, but the solution is to hire (do they even get paid?) another script manager! Seriously, how hard is that? I have seen people complain to NO END about bugs in scripts and the script writer has to keep assuring them it'll be fixed... when it gets pushed to the SDN.Rant over. Please fix this mess. It's not only frustrating to script writers, but to OSBot as a whole.

How To Change Your IP {Using A Free VPN} Table Of Content: What Is a VPN? Why Is a VPN Helpful When Botting? Static IP adress How To Download How To Setup The VPN What Is a VPN? Virtual Private Network (Also known as: VPN) is a very important and usefull feature to have stored on your computer. Many people will come across situations in which they'd like to stay annoymous and hide there IP adress. VPN's can be very helpful when botting and minimize your risk of your IP being flagged resulting in having ALL your accounts banned. Why Is a VPN Helpful When Botting? When a person has atleast 2 accounts and bots on 1 of them, they may wish to consider using a VPN, incase they end up loosing both of there accounts to a ban. I personally use a VPN when botting on my less important accounts. I have 4 Runescape account's in total (1 Main, 3 Gold Farmers). When I'm botting on my goldfarmers, I don't want my main account's IP to be linked to the gold farming accounts as I do NOT bot on my main, but could still end up loosing all four of them if I get their IP flagged by Jagex. When on my main account I'll use my Static IP adress, when botting on my gold farmers I'll open up the VPN, connect to a random IP and then begin botting, this then means there is NO way Jagex can link the 3 gold farming accounts with my main account. It basically protects you from getting your IP flagged and all your accounts linked with that IP that is flagged, banned. Static IP Adress A static IP adress is when someone cannot change there IP by turning off their router/modem. Many people now'days can just switch of the router for a couple of minutes and their IP will be changed, however there are a lot of people who have a static IP adress. When botting having a Static IP can be a main cause of having all of your accounts banned due to having your IP flagged. How To Download To get started, please visit: http://cyberghostvpn.com/ Now, you should be on http://CyberGhostVPN.com from here you now need to click "FREE DOWNLOAD". The download is 12.2 MB and will take an average computer roughly 30 seconds to download. Once You have downloaded the file, click "RUN". Go through the setup, agree to the ToS, and then CyberGhost will begin to Install, once it has been installed "LAUNCH" cyberghost. After launching the program, you'll then be asked to either Login or Sign up. click "REGISTER FOR FREE". Create a username and a password then click "NEXT". Once you've successfully registered you'll be asked to remember a PUK (personal unblocking key). This key code is used to recover your account if it's stolen or forgotten. Just jot this down somewhere, hopefully you'll never need it though. How To Setup The VPN Now, you should have hopefully successfully downloaded and installed CyberGhost and be logged in. Which means you should see this screen... Just have a look around here, familiarize yourself with the CyberGhosts Dashboard. As you can see from looking in the top right hand courner of the screen, it says your are NOT annomyous. This means you're still using your IP and have not connected to the VPN. Now you should click "CONNECT TO VPN" It'll then give you a list of 4 possible actions, ignore the bottom 3 as we are not a premium member, just click the first option "Connect To Free Service". After clicking that, it'll tell ask you for e-mail exceptions. This basically means, which are e-mail providers are you going to be using whilst your connected to the VPN. I just tick them all incase I ever have to use one whilst connected. (This only appears the once, so don't worry!!!) From now on whenever you click "Connect To Free Service" it will remember your e-mail exceptions and will connect you automatically straight away. You'll have to wait up to 10 seconds(maybe longer if there is a que), whilst waiitng you'll be shown this page... When that page exists, you will be connected, you're dashboard will then look simular to this: You'll not always connect to London, the VPN it connects to is completely random. But as you can see in the tp right hand courner it says your ARE annoymous and it gives you the IP of your VPN your connected to rather than your actual IP adress! To double check your connected to a VPN, go to http://google.com and type "Whats My Ip?" it'll then tell you your IP, if your IP matches the one you've been given from Cyberghost, in this case it's "79.141.161.37" then it's a success! As the title says. THIS DISCUSSION REQUIRES NO KNOWLEDGE OF PROGRAMMING. I'm bored and in philosophy class so here goes nothing. I MAY BE OVER ANALYZING THIS. However, to me this is the only thing that makes sense. All of you skillers get banned and from what I'm seeing very little combat bots are being banned. Now don't get me wrong I'm sure some are being banned however the margin is much larger for skillers. Yes that is a very radical statement but I believe it is true if you will just put some thought into this. Lets make a very simple example. You are training Str at Hill Giants outside Varrock. When you are actually playing the game, do you check your friends list, ignore list, skill exp, prayer, armor, spellbook, and etc constantly? If you do you must have your head up your ass. This new software is purely based on pattern detection(so they claim) Thorwing in an antiban creates a pattern. For instance NOT USING ANTIBAN:: If I'm at hill giants with 3 other people my bot does not do A B C D over and over and over it may do A X Y U I and then J N M LA the next time. Given that the spawn points change, and the monsters that are up/down change. Now if you are fishing, there is a pattern and that won't ever change, thus creating a ban. This should be self explanatory so I'm not going to make a case for this. For instance using an antiban: Training at hill giants with 3 other people, you will then show a pattern, sure your killing may not be an A B C D pattern but instead and A X Y U I pattern. However if you throw in an anti ban, you are then using an A B C D pattern. Thus showing fagex you are using a bot. Despite your attacking of giants being 110% random and not predetermined you are using an antiban which is a pattern. Even if the antiban is set to be "random" there is still a set number of things that anti ban does and it will continue to do them ovr and over thus yeilding a pattern. Now granted this is not always going to be the case, there are many variables that play into the example I made. Lets see if any one here can wrap their head around this and provide some thoughts.
