  1. I'm pretty sure the post right above yours answers your question... Because nobody has the time to keep 2 bots updated. And with the Windows XP argument, if somebody found a security vulnerability for XP tomorrow and exploited it, Microsoft wouldn't bother to fix it. Likewise, if Jagex releases an update to break OSBot 1, the devs won't bother updating it either. Just like there are software that are released that are no longer compatible with XP, the new scripts will not be compatible with OSBot 1. And all this about lifetime support etc etc. Nowhere on OSBot does it say that OSBot promises to support scripts for lifetime. If you honestly believe that scripts would be lifetime, I'm sorry, then you made a mistake when you bought the script. Stop blaming OSBot for the assumptions that you made. I'm looking at Swizzbeat's AIO Fisher. Does the scripter promise lifetime? Nope. Does his thread promise lifetime? Nope. Does the store promise lifetime? Nope. How about Purple's Rooftop? Scripter promise lifetime? Nope. Thread? Nope. Store? Nope. See a pattern? Yes. There isn't any other viable solution. We've already tried easing the transition by promising you guys 30 days of free access to converted scripts, but we can't force scripters to give you access for free now can we. If you think you have a better solution that both sides will like, post it here.

Please bring it back. As we know, it was removed because @Swizzbeat is a filthy noob. Please bring it back for those moments when words just aren't enough. Thank you.
  3. Perfectly stated.Unlike you botters, what we do takes a lot more skill and ingenuity than a couple mouse clicks or mindlessly playing a game. You have no idea what it's like to literally sit there and stare at documentation on bitwise operators/shifts just for the sake of gaining knowledge to make your scripts that much better (and programming knowledge as well). It's a tiring task which is why you see 99% of this site classified as script users while the other 1% make them. tl;dr fuck george clooney
  4. Your job as a botter is to buy scripts and run them, that could easily be done in 10 mouse clicks per day. My job as a scripter is to write hundreds, sometimes thousands, lines of codes, market my product and provide customer support, all on a daily basis. I'm hungry for some fucking cents because I actually work for those fucking cents. Stop acting like a shrimp and treating me as if I were a shark.
  5. So I just got OSD, it's something i've been excited for and one of my main goals since joining OSBot. I thought this day would be amazing and glorious, but there's something wrong. Everyday I get on the forums to see my fellow botters falling left and right, getting Pwned by Jagex. Jagex has been fucking us up for over a year, but we've finally hit a point where botting is just no longer viable. I fear we've come to the end of the road. I've lost all hope </3 I think our community needs to step up and answer these questions: When will botters fight back? What is our retaliation plan? - Who will lead us into the next era of botting? Until then OSBot 2 and everything else we're doing here is pointless. If we're going to answer these questions and come up with a serious plan of attack then the community needs to come together and form a group of people dedicated to answering these questions. I also think our community admins/mods need to get more involved in these matters too, and lead us to find answers. The 3 main types of detection: Account-Profiling: - This is when Jagex takes a look at your actions over an extended period of time, and looks to see how realistic it is. If you create an account and immediately send it to pick flax for 2 weeks after leaving tut island you'll look like an obvious bot. Therefore, an account with a higher total-level and more quests will suffer from a lower ban-rate than a nooby looking account (Not to say that this will entirely diminish bans) Script profiling: - This concerns how your script behaves each time it runs. Similarities in the path it walks, the way the mouse moves, how repetitive your actions are, etc. Basically, if every script runs the same on each client, then they will all behave similarly. IP profiling: - This is the simplest of the detection methods, and is used to flag all accounts played from a known botting IP address. Tested methods: - More human-like mouse algorithm - Projects lead by The Dream team (Noto and dream) and some other ppl. - Projects yielded beautiful results, but were in-effective in effecting bans. Possible Counter-Measures: Anti Account-Profiling || Anti Script-Profiling - Script scheduler -In development by devs apparently Botters will be able to be able to create a schedule for which scripts to run and for how long. This way your bot can perform many activities throughout the day instead of just 1 task. - Web walking -In development by devs apparently Currently in order to make a script walk you've got to provide a list of tiles that the script uses as a path to follow. This is great for creating a quick path to get somewhere, but opens up a vunerability for Jagex to recognize the pattern we take each time (Even if this path is somewhat randomized ea time). With web-walking, we'd create the path to and from the destination dynamically ea time, opening up an infinite amount of paths you could take to and from your destination. With this we-walking i'd like to see it capable of not only the most efficient route, but also wandering from the most efficient path at times. - Unique botting profiles -Idea proposed by myself and used on other sites in the past (RID) Each botter would receive a uniqu botting profile. This profile would contain many characteristics including reaction time, mouse speed, how often you AFK etc. These factors would then be accounted for in the OSBot API, so that way EVERY script performs differntly based on that profile. -NEW - Custom reaction times. I believe that most scripts have a large flaw in the way they determine the state of the script. This is because usually as SOON as a condition is met for as task we will execute that method. My proposal is that we craete a sort of Task Management System which will mimic how often a player pays attention to each task, so it won't necessarily notice the npcs as soon as they're ready to attack. -NEW - Defence System If we are to make any big strives in technology i also think it's wise to protect our tech from Jagex because im sure they could see what we're doing...
  6. If you would like the auth you need to comply with the Terms and Conditions: Terms and Conditions: After the 24-hour period, you must like the script thread for the [OSB1] equivalent which can be found here You must after 24-hours post a screenshot of a Progress Report, otherwise this will terminate your trial If you already own Extreme AIO Hunter for OSB 1, you must leave a store review (after 24-hours) to get a 3 day trail (checked against list of members on a database). Screenshots: Progress Report- GUI- Trials will be timed using GMT as a timezone, I will update the thread with the Times the Trail Started/Ended for users. There are 5 Auths available per 24-72 hours (subject to user's not complying with the Terms and Conditions). Current Auths: June 4th-7th: @seanrayner67, @Jiimbo, @HansPeters, @RetardedSkiddy June 7th-10th: @RetardedSkiddy, @Gterwin, @lodsl

  9. Okay, so the developer will keep OSBot 1 up for 2-3 months to let people have time to switch over. Windows XP is a full OS, and it was standard for like 10 years, so of course they'll give people years to move over. Entire companies depended on XP. In our case I think 2-3, maybe 4 months is a suitabel time. And regarding the emulator, actually Laz made a post saying that the emulator would be supported for some time, but eventually we'd move to OSBot 2 only. I remember reading that post because it pissed me off at first (I didn't want to convert my code). And yes, I don't expect my software to be shut down 2 months after it gets release, but 1) unlike office, scripts need to be maintained, and 2) Unlike office, windows doesn't need to be updated for office to work. Because of this, the analogy to office isn't the best. I think a better analogy would be to a car. A car needs to be maintained. If an "update" occurs (eg. the car breaks), you need to fix it. You can buy accessories for the car (analogous to scripts). But if the car blows up, guess what, you don't take the accessories back to the store and be like "I want a refund." You still keep your OSBot 1 scripts, it's just OSBot 1 doesn't work anymore, just like you can keep your accessories, but they're useless without the car. And you don't get to just move your accessories to a new car cause it's a new car, your accessories aren't compatible.

  13. sorry, i don't go around spamming the goals & runescape bans sections for post count
  14. Motivation? You spelled spam* wrong.
  15. So basically on other forums that I have been apart of, If you're found out to of scammed and even if you refund the members you stole from your 'Reputation/Feedback' is 'fucked' and removed so only neut/negative feedback remains on your account. I feel that if you get placed into TWC and are found to of scammed of even attempted to scam somebody but got caught before hand your account should be kept in TWC for a period of time and have all positive feedback removed so the members in question have to rebuild their community standing. TL;DR Get TWC Lose Positive Reputation Keep TWC for a certain amount of time Lose TWC have to rebuild REP
  16. Obviously Something Being Obscure Today
  17. They will be removed shortly, cuz you remove reference of your object each time you invoke method. While developing java you shouldn't take care of such things because u have jvm developed a way that will help you free unused references. Actualy in some (if not most) cases java memory allocation is even faster than c++ because java jvm doesn't have sheduled deallocation, it frees when it wants, when it needs to. In short answer: His methodInvoke -> create objects on stack -> no more use -> end of their life -> free. Yours LocalVar -> create object on heap -> use use use -> end of use on end of program -> free Difference? None for scripter/overall programmer/ Ofc we are talking about damn few data bytes lol. Don't you guys have more serious problems ;o Btw this skeleton, try to write api, this is kinda not herpfull ;P When i mean api, add some utilities show uses of methods etc, skeleton isn't much different than v1
  18. Don't scam to begin with, its not changing. It is case by case.
  19. Create image -> draw shapes or whatever on it -> save image with those graphic modifications That's what I'd like to do. nevermind got it lol if anyone wants to clue me in on how to grab script paint in the onExit method before the bot itself clears it that would be great

    Demoted.
  28. I find this absolutely deplorable, from a business point of view that Developers have allowed customers+scripters to be feuding like this without any intervention, this isn't going to turn out well.
  29. No support at all. As said earlier, many people are placed in TWC who turn out to be innocent but are accused of scamming, and therefore involved in a dispute. It is not fair to revoke all positive feedback as soon as someone is placed in a dispute.

    no one care
  31. Users take responsibility for what their accounts do. I've seen people get 'hacked' and banned because of their account done it.
  32. Why do I have a feeling it actually isn't Jordan posting this..
  33. So you want info about bans,i'll share my info about all my bans i've gotten so far? In my opinion the only thing they detect is the general behaviour of the account. I have never been banned on an account that has quest/ other skills etc done on it. I only got banned on 99 wc accounts while goldfarming or f2p clay miners. I think the key is not to make an account that is so obvious. You see, when you are playing legit often you see a player in the world and you can immidiatly say "Yep, that's a bot". If we can do that, jagex can. The days of 30+ accounts on gdk wearing same outfit are over. I think the most noticable things are: -Combat level -Other skills (level up other skills and not only the skill you are botting) -Do other stuff on the account. -Quests ( i think this is so important, i've never been banned on a account that was recently questing NEVER) That is what i like to call "the macro anti botting system" the "micro anti botting system" would be related to: -Repetetive actions -walking -Mouse algorithms - script quality (getting stuck etc) - randoms(i think this is minimal, i fail more randoms while playing legit than when botting) I don't think jagex records all that data for all it's players (imagine the data size) so i think the "Macro system" is the important part and often overlooked.
  34. Or they just write new scripts and get over it? They will still be getting paid regardless
  35. Nezz be like: Let me 1 up Kirito.
  36. Just show a 'lil more pizzazz and TK will make it rain pizzas with all the toppings.
  37. Let's have a bit of faith, I don't need to be de-moralized anymore than i already am. Web- walking really isn't that complex, and there's tons of info available for it on the web. Literally the only thing the devs need to create is a system for gathering and updating the map data. I've got faith that they can complete at LEAST this tool. I was thinking about the task scheduler earlier today, and i don't think it should depend on the web0walker at all. Instead, they should add 2 new boolean methods to the Script class: prepare() and finish(). In the finish() method you should return to a bank and deposit all your items then return true when this condition (And any other conditions specific to the script) are satisfied, and in the prepare() method you would withdraw any necessary items and get to the start location for the script. So for example, your time runs out for killing druids, so you return to a bank and deposit all lootations (Maybe even equipment too), next up you pick flax. The prepare method will run and withdraw a cammy tab then run to cammy bank before activating the onStart() of the script.
  38. This is what I understand. Script Writers are angry because they will have to completely rewrite their scripts in order to make profit, they will then receive more money because we'll pay a monthly fee and a one time fee. ------------------------------------ Consumers are angry because they bought a product that had a label 'lifetime' and in reality for more overall costs consumers are being bent over and forced to purchase these 'NEW' scripts with monthly costs, which monthly costs aren't that bad. ----------------------------------------- Scriptwriters are labeling the Scripts new as they are for a different client, however in the end game, the product is used for the same thing. only thing that changes are A. Different Branding B.More stability in features. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Devlopers get more splits from Premium scripts overall, more money coming in overall and no downfalls. Overall ------------------- Dev's get more money with the new client with little to no downfalls Scripters are pissed that they must remake scripts and the community expects them for free Communty(Consumers) Are pissed that they are having to repurchase and re-pay each month for something they had purchased with a 'lifetime' tag attached to it. Scripters see it as a full new product, Consumers see it as pretty much a re-branding and a new client. Devlopers see this as this oh and community sees it as this please correct me if im wrong just what I see.
  39. Yes but remember that Jagex is still a business and I think they wouldn't ban all the bots even if they could. Bots increase player count which makes the game seem to have life and also it gives them money. Don't you see how confident they are about bringing in f2p? If they can detect clients, I think they would ban only a fraction of the bots each day to keep the player count from plummeting and also to encourage gold farmers to keep paying for membership which generates money for them. But then, why would they specify "osbot" and let their secret out? Haha, it's mind games LOOOL I just read your post again and noticed "came in like a wrecking ball". Gave me a good laugh.
  40. Oh trust me, it's does sound ridiculous to me too. Just both of us have two major issues though: You: Lose all your one-time scripts. Me: I lose all my income from OSBot (Yes I do need it.) If I don't either port mine, or write new ones. Honestly this entire situation is between a rock and a hard place right now.
  41. Like I said our profits have nothing to do with you and how you price your script, does it? Seriously stop using numbers because it just doesn't work, this has NOTHING to do with numbers. This is about forcing customers to pay for something they've already payed for I sure won't be paying for your mistakes. This is the nature of the market.. you pay a few dollars and in return you get something which can make you a lot more than a few dollars. Personally idc if I had to pay and extra $3 per month if I were farming the fuck out of a script, thats fine it's $3, who cares. But the fact that you thinks it's right to force people to re-buy things they've already bought (and to have them keep paying continuously) is fucking insane(this is where the greed shines through). And no you shouldn't get payed for porting your scripts to 2, that should be mandatory.
  42. You are looking at this entirely wrong, you're acting as if you deserve some slice of our profits. No you don't. You sell a piece of software that YOU chose the price on. Not us. It seems to me you now regret selling your script for too cheap, now given the opportunity to force-ably re-sell it and even then get monthly payment YOU POUNCE LIKE A FUCKING SHARK. You know that no one would buy your shrooms script if it were $50, not because it's not necessarily worth, but because it's an open market and someone would come along and make one for $5. If you believe you deserve more money from your scripts, then sell them for a higher price initially, DON'T FORCE PEOPLE THAT ALREADY BOUGHT YOUR PRODUCT TO RE-BUY. I know you are willing to defend this point to the death because quiet frankly it will be a huge revenue boost for you(2x 3x 4x?)... But can you not see what's wrong here? You're demanding to be paid for something that should me MANDOTORY. Again you have no right what so ever to our profits so don't give me that bullshit.
  43. by what he done for the community, not based on how he acts 24/7. He helped me a lot in the beginning and now just changed for the worse. He couldn't move on past his differences or he'd still be a super mod. @Smart based on his community skills and attitude 24/7 always a pleasure to work with. @Gilgad a good guy, and a friend. Can't wait until he returns
