Tried hiring workers last year but none stood out; needed to bump the thread again this year and this is what i find:

 

8 of the previous applicants are banned

2 of the previous applicants are TWC

1 is completely inactive

1 is good

 

So out of 12 applicants, only 2 are not banned or in twc, and only 1 is still active.

83% of them turned out to be dangerous. embarassing and sad yet people expect me to hire them at the blink of an eye.

i mean dumb scammers think it's a good opportunity for them to scam.

At end of the day, people don't work for $2/hour so don't expect legit people. You can expect a small chance but they're half way round the world with no money to make them trust you.

 

The problem is obvious, you need to trust someone and take a leap of faith.

Took a leap of faith and trusted someone about 4 times and been scammed about 4 times now

Just wondering but how do you manage to get scammed when hiring someone. Dont you tell them to do the service for you and you pay them after. isnt the worst thing that can happen is that they dont do the service and you dont pay them ?
