why is osbot broken every thursday

Thursday is when the Earth, Jupiter and Venus are in line with each others linear equilibrium which can cause spacial computer interference and it usually can break cloud firmware servers using a specific demi infrastructure which Jagex actually uses for RuneScape, which is pretty outdated but due to the tech required for OSRS itself they can't really invest the time and money in upgrading it without plans for long term support. It's probably most likely in the works but I wouldn't put it past them to never see it coming out.
