She actually is only doing this because our entire class average for the entire semester was a 43%. So what she is doing is dividing our final into 4 units (the same number of tests we had) and is allowing us to replace our test grades for each section with the tests that we originally took for that section, making it equalling out to be 80% of our grade. If we score lower than originally on our test, it CAN hurt us. So it's really a toss up. hahahaha We all had to sign a document allowing for her to change the syllabus for the semester.
