how dark can a joke be and you would still laugh about it?

Meh, usually drawing the line once I get stabbed or so.

Maybe once it gets personal, I'm usually pretty dark with my humor (9/11, cancer, etc) but my son has a feeding tube and when my friends make jokes about it I kind of just shrug it off.

Pretty high limits on what can be made fun of personally, but it depends on the situation/location the joke is made as well. In private I can handle a lot more than let's say this forum, because I need to take into account what might be offensive to others on here.

I dont think there is a line where you shouldn't make a joke. You can make a joke about anything you want. 

There's no line unless you already know the line. 

 

 

I make cancer jokes to people online, or race (even though race jokes aren't that funny, more of a middle-school thing). But, i'd never make on to my friend tyler whose mom died of cancer, just because i know where the line already is.

 

just depends on the situation, i guess.

Really no line for me personally I've got pretty thick skin. There's never been anything someone could say to me personally to truly offend me or get me fired up. I'm the kind of person to just fire back slick talk and get the other person more fired up and get under their skin.

 

However if someone were to say something about my girlfriend while we are around and she took offense I would have to nip it in the butt quick. That doesn't mean go up and argue or fight just let them know, have some respect man.

No line. Everything should be able to be made fun of. People reciprocating on the other hand, should be taken account for if you do make fun said thing. 

If it's funny enough, I'll laugh about it. Just dont say something stupid that's offensive AND not funny. 

Situational awareness usually tells you what's okay or not.
