You were botting ofc you will get banned doesnt matter how much precaution you take, only thing those would do is delay it IF YOU ARE LUCKY. You did get pretty lucky tho 2 day ban is good.

They have overturned many appeals they got via Twitter and from reddit so there is a chance

Their system seems to be working quite fine and they have decided to trade off a few wrongful bans for the bulk. If you are really innocent you can appeal with twitter or reddit. Edit:: There cant be a 100% this is the best that they have and they trust their tools, there will always be wrongful bans nothing to stop that

It exists but dont know for sure if its only for older/high lvl accounts. Its all just luck dont believe in the myth that the first ban will be a 2day ban

Nice gesture or not you still recovered an account that is not yours anymore behind his back, this is kinda fucked up imo(the principle) try to communicate with the buyer first next time and make a deal with them to get it unbanned or something. There is a dispute from not long ago where the seller recovered his banned accounts so be careful.
