VIP only has a limit of 20 stored notifications, Once limit is reached, oldest notifications are automatically removed.

I've already increased it from april 14th to april 21st, which is the actual 1 month from date the forums went public. Veteran will of course be extended in the future, but not right now and it won't be months. It will most likely be 7-14 days max. It will stop eventually.
