Jagex update nuked the hooks. The devs will get into it once they wake up.

Running the client in full screen (re-sizable mode).
FushigiBotreplied to Herpalerps's topic in Botting & BansI think resizeable works in stealth injection mode. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that the client needs to be equal or smaller than a specific size in order for the mirror (reflection) bot to be able to hook. More than X size doesn't work but if you match the bot client's dimensions, it does hook up even in resizeable mode. Not sure if scripts would work well this way, though, as some of the scripts might use widgets that might otherwise not exist in the resizeable client. -
(Nord)VPN for account creation does not work
FushigiBotreplied to badmomzj's topic in Botting & BansEchoing what Gunman wrote, it takes a lot to flag an IP -- especially a residential one. It has only happened to me once back in 2019 - 2020. I was running a bunch of accounts without VPN or proxies. At one point I had half of my farm at NMZ and the other half spread out. Jagex did a sweep at NMZ. All accounts banned. A day or two later, all other bots were banned as well. Chained through IP most likely. Couldn't create accounts or even bot on that IP anymore (Accounts would be banned within minutes lmao). I reset my router, got a new IP, and problem fixed. -
(Nord)VPN for account creation does not work
FushigiBotreplied to badmomzj's topic in Botting & BansMost VPN IPs are blocked when it comes to creation (and sometimes access the account on the website), since Jagex already knows they are commercial IPs and can be abused. The system Jagex uses is commercial and they keep track of these, and do constantly update their database. Create accounts either on your home IP while on private browsing mode. Don't go crazy. Do 1 or 2 at a time. Either that or on a clean proxy (as in one that's not blocked by the system). -
Likely because of the hardware mouse. Only use hardware mouse if you only plan to run 1 bot on that PC.

The script runs nearly flawlessly. I've been using it to get some magic levels on new accs. There is only one thing that I have noticed. When there are no attackable targets, and it's in the hill giants area, the bot will loop setting the spell interaction. This can happen when the area is populated and no targets can be highlighted for a while or when getting stuck trying to hop worlds. The log loops the setting spell interaction debug message and nothing else when it loops.

CLI isn't a 3rd party tool ^^. Anyways, even without CLI, when using progressive mode, it ignores osbot breaks and will only use the "break between levels" setting. That works fine at lower level but becomes less useful as you level up since longer run times = higher ban rates. If there are no plans to add timed custom break settings, could you at least make it so that the script uses (does not disable) OSBot's break handler in progressive mode? That would help a lot and get me back using this script again.

Consider adding auto gear equipping/checking for automated farming through cli. Currently only 1 of all the crab scripts support this feature but when using it, it disables breaking... making it less than optimal to use.

^ Seems to be fixed. Edit: Nvm. Comes back after the settings file is re-created.

It helps a lot with CLI and 1 click launching. Ex. One can set up a profile that trains and changes gear from level 1-99 range. I personally only use CLI. Therefore, for me it's only Progressive Mode. Without any useful form of breaking, I can't really use the script. With the BH Bot Manager being commonly used nowadays, a lot of people are moving away from regular launching and into CLI, which is why custom breaks are being pushed into many other scripts.
-
I mean, as in bot for x time and break for x time. Current custom breaks in progressive mode (if I understand correctly) work by breaking after a level up. It's not bad at low levels but will break less and less as it levels up. When launching through CLI, progressive mode overrides osbot breaks and will instead try to use the built in, break between levels breaks. At the very least a way to use OSBot breaks with progressive

Please add custom breaks one day.

Object Names Suddenly Disappearing Making them Uninteractable.
FushigiBotreplied toFushigiBot's topic in Bug reportsI also noticed other objects with the "null" problem. I was botting Plague City and the Pipe Grill underground was uninteractable. The door where you find the girl, too. -
OSBOT 2.6.37 Mirror Mode Console/Terminal output: None No crash. Script Factory (Also happened while testing other .jar scripts I was making) Hooks that failed: Not sure. Java 1.8.0_311 32 bit I'm running the same script on various accounts (testing). 3 Accounts haven't had this issue. 4 have. 2 Out of the 4 seem to be permanent (Not even restarting the client fixes the issue). The other 2 fixes itself if I hop worlds. I have seen this happen for a while in other areas with other objects as well but never felt the need to report it since a world hop would fix the issue.

Lookng for the "Sins of the Father" Quest Config Id.
FushigiBotreplied toFushigiBot's topic in Scripting HelpI effing love you man. -
Title. I don't have any accs with the reqs to start the quest atm, so can't get the id off the debugging tool. Will greatly apreciate it if someone could pass on this info.

Situations with some objects after the latest update
FushigiBotreplied toFushigiBot's topic in Botting & BansI haven't tested injection. TBH I just don't use it so I can't really comment there. I might log into a trash account later and see if the problem is there. I know the altars show an id but the name comes back as "null". -
As a lot of you may already know, some scripts have not been working correctly recently -- especially those with object interactions. I have been doing some debugging since the latest update, and I have found two different situations (all of this is on mirror) and thought I should inform the community. The first situation is simply that some frequently used objects, such as runecrafting altars and prayer altars, give null values on their name and/or ids. This makes interacting with them impossible, since the API uses these values when doing direct interactions. The client can still see the objects, though. The second situation is a bit different. I discovered this while testing a script I made. The object I had been interacting with suddenly couldn't be seen by the client. I couldn't see the id, name -- nothing. It was as if it didn't exist at all. I used the entity hover to check this. However, I could still click on it manually. Hopping worlds seemed to fix the issue. My guess is that this is some recent form of anti-cheating mechanism to make bots get stuck and detect them. For scripters: setting a timer after X time of not interacting with the object, then hopping worlds if the timer runs out could be a possible fix for this scenario. Anyways, happy botting and be extra careful untill all of this is fixed.

It doesn't help much unless the script is using some sort of live service (in which case it would have to be disabled anyways) or unless you have a really old pc.
-
I love you, man. I'll always recommend you.
-
I don't have any personal preference on this ^^. Any would be fine.

That's awesome. I asked about custom breaks for this one since I keep my osbot breaks settings off (all the scripts I run have custom breaks) and I forget to turn them on sometimes. :x
