That's why I got into it. I played a ton of games and just beat it so easily that it got boring. I got onto RS and was trying to beat it until I realized how hard it was. I kept trying to level up and on my first 99 I was like omfg I'm actually going to beat this game. xD Ahh, fun times. Or 10h a day.

There are actual teams of people (maybe mods) that go around looking for bots. I think that's what I was referring to thinking they were mods or something.

I don't get the point of the picture. Did he appeal it or did jagex reverse it? If they reversed it then they realized they made a mistake. If he appealed it then that's a different story. Edit: I may be confusing the bot busting thing with another thing that I read. Who knows.

I think I remember reading that they were physical bans and that's why those are not appealable since a mod actually checked to make sure you were botting.

It's the same thing. There's bot busting bans for bots then there's macroing minor/major. Jagex gives out one and two day temp bans. Other than that, it's a permanent ban as far as I know.

Once your account receives an infraction (macro) your account is permanently under surveillance from then on more strictly than accounts who haven't been infracted. If you bot again, you'll probably get insta banned since they're literally stalking you right now to see if you bot again. A Moderator ban means the mod physically went to you to ban you and reviewed what you did. Otherwise, it would just be a macroing minor/major ban if it was just by the automated system.

You're still going to be botting...which is against the rules. You have to do it carefully and not all nilly-willy otherwise you'll get insta banned then come back on here crying. Do it in moderation. Doing what the above mentioned is probably best; gold farm on a separate account and use that money to pay people to level your current account. Probably the safest way of keeping your account.

I have been RWT since I found p****bot back in 2009. I started the game in 2007. Since 2009, I have been RWT and have never had a ban over three accounts. I don't do stupid stuff like trading a needle and two runes for 100m. I just log into the game, take the money then log out. I hear a couple of people crying about being banned for RWT but I have never been banned. I know what you mean. Jagex just doesn't fully understand how intricate the black market is and how to combat it. That's probably their biggest issue. That's just business. However, it's bad business to lose money. No matter how low the price goes trying to be competitive, they won't lose money trying to undercut someone unless something drastic has come along.

Shouldn't less bots and more legit people make gold worth more..? I'm aware of the high aching stuff but the less bots shouldn't equate to cheaper gold. It should make the opposite happen.
