So obviously every single script is now a monthly charge, which I am pretty sure no botting community has done before. I don't know about anyone else but for the most part, that is an incredibly strong deterrent for me. $8 a month for a druid killer? Lol. Not advertising, but I have a full slayer script on another client for 2 months of that price. I haven't personally ran OSBot in around 2 months, but this is just a ridiculous money grab. I understand there are some scripts that do deserve to be a monthly charge, but for all of them to be? No thanks. No one is forcing me to buy anything (Which is why I am not buying anything) But me, as probably the most financially secure member on this website, I won't purchase a single script, and I can only imagine if I refuse to, how many others also agree. This is just going to blatantly end up sending users to the competition.

Ha...Haha. I own an actual work place. I actually understand quite well how the real world works child. I have to pay a monthly income tax that I guarentee is more than your year income. The implication here is no one pays those MRSP fees. Those are a marketing tool, if you contact adobe to buy their product, there are about 10 different ways to get it for half the cost. Also no one gets fined. You think there are people going around checking your keys and making sure they check out? Lol please. And just because I have extra money to blow, doesn't mean I need to keep my mouth shut about a blatant money grab.

No we are forced to use monthly model now for OS2 scripts, and the prices my scripts have are not what I submitted them as. Also the other client, you have to pay to use it, then buy scripts which prices are really no different than here, then to top the cake, some script are authed per account. A funny thing everyone seems to forget, every script you could ever want can be free; just go learn Java or enough API to get your shit done, and write it yourself, this is a open platform. If you complain about prices, then write it yourself, that's one of the main reasons I took up writing bots.

Firstly, scriptwriters should not be bashed or provoked simply for the occurrence of these monthly payments. We must understand that they were directed to implement the change by the developers themselves; so in all actuality they are following the rules set by their superiors. Yes, even though the prices may be significantly higher than previously expected everything is subject to change, and I am sure it will be in due time considering the communities perspective currently. Hopefully the developers will be able to see this thread, accurately assess what needs to be done, and adjust accordingly. Overall, fighting will produce no resolve so let us try to figure out a solution instead. Edit: Grammar.

Do you have access to every OSB2 script's sale summary? Didn't think so. Don't draw conclusions without any actual data. Once we have some more real data, not just forum complaints, we'll be able to adapt our strategies.

Costs us 8$ a month, but scripters are making about 400-800$ a month depending on sales from a SINGLE script, I don't see how you can say that you can't tone down prices a bit, this is a hobby, not your real job.

Interesting no other botting community has to rape the community in favor of scripters in order to churn out a higher quality script.

TBH all scripts were fine/flawless the client wasn't quite then. Either way there isnt much you can do when in a whole week i didnt get any bug reports (random related complaints dont count) and I only got 1x 1hour proggy and yet rock crabs was conviniently 2x as full #leechweek

Just don't buy ANYTHING from osbot for like a month and watch them slash prices by over half, easy

They also don't realise the amount of bans, 'goldfarming' is dying out very quickly, (gold prices speaks for itself). At a time of the highest bans ever recorded we're now paying the initial purchase cost every month, what an absolute joke, even 50% is laughable. If you're gonna money grab at least do it respectfully,$ 0.50-0.99 renewals for maintenance not 100%+ of scripts worth. I personally will only keep one prem script now, from the 12 or so that I had, what a fucking shame OSBot.

You guys another big problem with monthly fees is that I like to buy scripts just to have them for the rare occasion I'll need it. For example: The pest control script -> I use this script to get full void, maybe 3-4 times a year. Why would I pay a monthly fee for something, if I only use it like once a day every couple of months. Also: Real players tend to use more scripts than gold farmers because they have a lot of skills to train. Do you expect a real player to spend 100$/month so he can have like 10-15 scripts in order to train all of his skills. This dose not seem fair to me. I mean honestly I use 5-10 scripts every single week, They're no way I can afford to pay 50-100$/mo to use them (and as mentioned above some I rarely use but are very helpful to me)

ITT: Few scripters getting confused on who their customer base is. It's 13-17 year olds for the majority. Not many of them have ways to pay of reoccuring charges. Not rewarding? Then make more scripts. The burden of profitability was just shifted from scripter whose job it was to make a high quality script, to the customer who gets to hope and pray the script they purchase is worth a fuck. The one upside is atleast after you get use to this new income, it can be shut the fuck off when your script goes to shit and you stop updating it so yay?
