Hello OSBoticans, I managed to improve the way mouse positions are picked and how the bot randomizes its movements. It's still a work in progress but it's great improvement from the previous releases' random spazzing on complex objects. Additionally some built-in painters have been modified aesthetically. Why can't the emulator just transfer osbot 1 scripts into osbot 2 scripts so none of this drama actually happens and everyone is happy..?

Like I said our profits have nothing to do with you and how you price your script, does it? Seriously stop using numbers because it just doesn't work, this has NOTHING to do with numbers. This is about forcing customers to pay for something they've already payed for I sure won't be paying for your mistakes. This is the nature of the market.. you pay a few dollars and in return you get something which can make you a lot more than a few dollars. Personally idc if I had to pay and extra $3 per month if I were farming the fuck out of a script, thats fine it's $3, who cares. But the fact that you thinks it's right to force people to re-buy things they've already bought (and to have them keep paying continuously) is fucking insane(this is where the greed shines through). And no you shouldn't get payed for porting your scripts to 2, that should be mandatory.

You are looking at this entirely wrong, you're acting as if you deserve some slice of our profits. No you don't. You sell a piece of software that YOU chose the price on. Not us. It seems to me you now regret selling your script for too cheap, now given the opportunity to force-ably re-sell it and even then get monthly payment YOU POUNCE LIKE A FUCKING SHARK. You know that no one would buy your shrooms script if it were $50, not because it's not necessarily worth, but because it's an open market and someone would come along and make one for $5. If you believe you deserve more money from your scripts, then sell them for a higher price initially, DON'T FORCE PEOPLE THAT ALREADY BOUGHT YOUR PRODUCT TO RE-BUY. I know you are willing to defend this point to the death because quiet frankly it will be a huge revenue boost for you(2x 3x 4x?)... But can you not see what's wrong here? You're demanding to be paid for something that should me MANDOTORY. Again you have no right what so ever to our profits so don't give me that bullshit.

This is absolute bullshit. I have to pay for Vip/proxies/memberships/scripts/maintenance for all accounts/VPSES all monthly. Now don't get me wrong, this is an great investment if OSBOT2 works completely fine and ACTUALLY reduces ban rates significantly. if not, then it's not worth over the switch and you will loose your user base to other competitors. Furthermore, I'd like to suggest that you get rid of VIP if your going to introduce all scripts to be paid monthly. This will increase your conversion rates with new users and make you and script developers more money overall. The only reason for this is because not everyone is a gold farmer and only bots on runescape for personal wealth. If I was an average person, who is not a gold farmer, and I seen a bot that cost $9 to use and an average of $5-6 per script, I would just instantly click away and look for another bot. Welcome to a introduction to business 101 baby, Hope I taught someone something you can apply logic to. My VIP runs out tomorrow so I probably won't renew it until I see if the development staff successfully utilizes the integration of osbot 2. I sincerely hope you make smart decisions, as this community is awesome and I would hate to see it perish.

I'd love to give me users life-time access to the life-time scripts they bought on OSBot 1. That being said, I don't think it's going to happen that way. Either way, I feel that the product I've provided and maintained over the past few months has been more than worth it's value. As a scripter, I vow to make this new mandatory monthly charge more than worth it to those of you who choose to re-subscribe with sexy new updates and features. There are too many id's for them and they change each RS update anyway. The most common solution is to get the height of the rock your facing and if that height is > 80 ( I think that's the beginning of smoking rocks ) then stop mining.

Not overpriced. I agree it´s not complicated banner, but it´s totally fucked up to think that "professional" artists with real life clients would keep doing quality graphics for as low price as kids with for example 1 year experience making basic signatures. Who wants to spend hour/s making a nice piece of graphics for 5-10$? That´s like a damn god scripter making the most complicated script and then gives it out for almost free. Nice work @Dex!

I'm actually very much in favor of monthly fees. If you purchase a "lifetime" script, and the scripter decides to leave in 3 weeks, what are you going to do? You have no protection against that. You could ask for a refund, but you'll probably not be eligible anymore. In addition, you can't expect a "lifetime" script to be for your lifetime, because... well, the scripter could get sick, he could get run over by a car, he could have irl issues, and end up being unable to update his script. On the contrary, with a monthly script system, the scripter needs to keep his script updated to get paid. No updates, people don't renew, no income. Therefore, monthly payments are an incentive for scripters. In addition, scripters have to keep their script updated, fix things when Jagex breaks their script, and they should get compensation for that work. And please don't pull the poor kid argument... If they have enough money to be spending 8 bucks a month for a video game, they have enough money to spend 5 bucks a month to pay the scripter for his/her script...

They can be emulated but we don't want to sell unstable software. Scripts can be converted easily so it shouldn't be an issue to the script developers, especially if they're being paid.

We feel it's becoming time to announce that OSBot will begin officially transitioning over to the OSBot 2 platform along with commencing the start of the new SDN. Today's message is simply a reminder and fair warning to every script developer that the SDN will no longer be selling OSBot 1 scripts starting 2 weeks from now (aka June 16th)! What does that mean? Well if you paid for an OSBot 1 script, you will still be able to use it on either OSBot 1 natively (as the script was designed) or on the emulator which OSBot 2 provides. Transition Date: June 16th, 2014 For customers: If a script is deemed equivalent to your OSBot 1 script and added onto the OSBot 2 SDN, you will be granted access to the OSBot 2 version as well! If you paid for a script that does not renew ever (aka a lifetime script) and an OSBot 2 equivalent script is available, you will only have a free-trial of 30 days for the OSBot 2 version! You may decide freely whether to keep using OSBot 1 scripts for botting or the OSBot 2 equivalents. For script-developers: OSBot 1 scripts will no longer renew or be sold on our store! In order to keep your customers and status as a developer on the SDN, you will be required to convert your scripts to the OSBot 2 platform and ensure their quality and standards. It does not take very long to convert scripts, OSBot 2's API is simply a little bit different with additional features. There is no reservations for certain scripts (i.e. AIO fighters, merchers, etc.). It's a free-for-all. Only the best scripts will be accepted for premium sales. Additionally, any script which is to be sold on the OSBot 2 SDN/Store will have to meet certain standards of quality and reliability. What to expect after OSBot 2 is released: We've been developing OSBot 2 for a long time now and we're close to getting a fully operational dynamic web-walker. OSBot 2.2.X will feature a bot scheduler which takes full advantage of web-walker API being written currently. Additionally, the API will be added so that developers may use web-walking in their scripts as well! The next generation scripts for OSBot will feature requirement logistics and starting points on the map. The built-in bot scheduler will allow you to load up an unlimited amount of compatible scripts concurrently and and allow the bot to transition between the loaded scripts freely and randomly based on certain probabilities and configurations done before-hand. This new style of automatic scheduling will allow your bots to behave more human-like during long periods of time by constantly having a pool of different available behaviors. How are we doing it?: Here in the development line we're creating tools which facilitate the analyzation of the game's maps and object spawns. Much of the logic behind the proposed web-walkers and bot schedulers is easily automated when data from the game is analyzed properly and efficiently. Conclusion: We want to start seeing lots of script submissions for the OSBot 2 SDN! OSBot 1 scripts will no longer be sold on June 16th. Newly added OSBot 2 scripts will replace our current repository with better, more reliable scripts! The OP was poorly worded, so I don't think anyone besides the developers even know what's going on, but in overall it seems that were going to have to rewrite our scripts for free. Even if they just get it for 30 days that's still a free month of access to our scripts and only like 5% of buyers actually renew a script. Don't quote me if the topic doesn't even concern you. Just manage the forum big boy.

What are you talking about? There will still be renewal fees on the ones that are transferred over. Unless you have a script that's a one time payment, then the users will have access to a free 30 day trial of one that is equivalent to its OSBot 1 predecessor. During this trial is the time to convince the user through the script to purchase it after the trial is over. Please read the announcement and try and keep an open mind. Such a derogatory attitude is not needed.
