Imagine if Roomscape got $1 for every shit thread he's made, close to $1k
  4. it was a shit thread and so is this
  5. Roomscape your arguments suck. Yes they are considered staff because they have the same permissions as Globals, disregarding some ACP access, but they aren't considered for the "Ex-Staff" rank as it's only a trial run to see if they will officially be joining us. There's your answer.
  6. He scammed me for $40,000 USD and hasn't refunded yet. I had to sell my wife and kids just to pay my bills, and I realised once I had sold them that my bills were a lot cheaper.

I think Room is the only one that gets it.
  9. Please use a MM before selling this amount of gp.
  10. Ex-Staff is proper. We were once part of the staff team, we served for a decent period of time, and now we are not a staff. So we are ex-staff.
  11. @Gilgad was Global for a very long time and did a great job as one. He chose to resign and he served his time by fulfilling his job so why shouldn't he receive the rank?
  12. I think we should have it like this.
  13. too slow, afraid to get bullied if i post it

Congratulations to @Debot for winning this SOTW competition!
  15. So after being in the trading market for a few months I noticed a big problem that gold sellers are constantly afraid of. Charge Backs!!! Now there are many ways to prevent this, but in most cases the gold seller will ask the buyer to send them a irl ID confirming that they have access to the PayPal and that is in fact not hacked. Unfortunately a lot of people are afraid of Identity theft and refuse to give their ID out to anyone. So heres an Idea I came up with, I doubt it will ever actually be used but its an idea. Rather than having each individual gold mercher/seller have their customers verify their paypal for the first time. If OSbot had a paypal verification system, as long as they use the same e-mail linked to their osbot account to make payment you know its already been verified that they are the rightful owner of the paypal. Then you can check their feedbacks to see if they are charging back or not. I feel people would be much more comfortable sending their licences to an admin on OSbot to verify their paypal than someone like me. Once again this is just a thought, but I feel like it will eliminate chargebacks for the most part, and make it very easy for people to know if it's actually their paypal or not.
  16. Looks like we know where your profit from your next few trades will be going

  19. It had better be. I spent like five minutes typing that up from my phone while my mom was talking to me and ignoring text messages. I'd be offended if it were anything less.

  26. 'Store' has connotations of premium scripts only. Whereas; 'Free Scripts' denotes exactly what it advertises. If they were to be imploded within one and other it may cause confusion among new members. In my personal opinion it wouldn't be worth the change, since the amount of people that would ever use OSbot on a tablet/phone is minuscule, especially when browsing the website using the navigation bar. On the contrary, if the name were to be changed back to 'Repository' or 'Script Repository' then I would support the idea. This includes the segregation of the 'donator' category and the other paid ranks, since as you say, 'donation' isn't something that should necessarily be advertised.
  27. I'll talk with Maldesto about this.
  28. To be honest , Master Chief also took advantage of OSBot to sell vouchers and shit like that , plus yea wasn't he going to scam osbot???

  39. Wrong, paypal balance payments are most risky. They're the most common cause of mass fraud, let me explain.. Chargebacker A and Chargebacker B hack paypal accounts, chargebacker A sends chargebacker B a large sum of money to his legitimate paypal account (so he wouldn't have a problem with passing most gold sellers ID request checks). Chargebacker B's job is then to spend as much of that money on gold . Example: After Chargebacker B spends all the funds from his Paypal balance, it's usually at that time the first payment that Chargebacker A sent is chargeback. there maybe multiple payments that Chargebacker A sends (they're refereed to as a 'Sender' and Chargebacker B is called the 'Holder') - Paypal then wants to cover themselves and cover Chargebacker B's negative balance and holds all Chargebacker B's out going payments (payments he's sent to buy gold) These types of chargebacks come up as 'Inquiry by Pay-Pay' Eventually Chargebacker B's payments will be returned to him, this then covers Chargebacker B's negative balance, but leaves him with x amount of gold that he sells for 'pure profit' 99% of the time, you will lose chargeback cases - even with ID/Proof of Address. The way we prevent these mass fraudulent payments is, requesting ID (as we do with every paypal transaction) and if they're a new customer - we ask for their paypal payment history. If there is a large sum of money going in and out of his account as seen in the first image that is a INSTANT refund no questions asked. Lastly, we make sure most bulk buyers have a confirmed paypal address, Non-confirmed: Confirmed: What them having a confirmed paypal address means, that we could send them a letter as long as it's TRACKED AND SIGNED for and win any unauthorized case. Aslong as their payment is NOT a gift, and their address is CONFIRMED. So sorry, but no support since requesting ID from someone does not stop chargebacks and it would lead to a large number of fraudulent payments and confusion with people thinking they're going to be covered in the event of a chargeback, which with having ID alone will not do. sorry for the novel but I thought I'd share with you the common myths when it comes to paypal
