Hello everyone, I have returned and I'm ready to contribute to our fire again. I'll be discussing with Laz to decide on our priorities again and I'll be working on some old work left behind when I was out of the country. Today I will be working on fixing up some scripts that require some attention. After that I will be writing an anti ban mechanism which hopefully will prevent many of the manual J Mod bans and possibly also the reports by P Mods. It will detect moderators in your environment and perform unpredictable behaviour, partially defined by you as a user, which should lower the suspicion. Goals we had before were obvious and they are still present, such as 'Hannibal', the first Titan to completely diminish the concept of web walking. Hannibal is a work in progress but will get a lot more attention now than it did before, simply because of the fact that there is room for attention now. Further automation of our administrative work is another goal which will happen behind the curtains, but most definitely very important for all of us. And we are brainstorming about a much easier way of adding scripts to the SDN, creating a web interface where you can submit everything that will create the Nexus store product, the repository module etc, leaving our only job to double check and confirm the entire product to be safe and working. All cool stuff And last but not least, we will be starting on a new little secret this month. The only reason I would see anyone suggest this is so they can get the go-ahead to freely scam without risking anything. Dumbest suggestion I've seen.

This release features a patch to Freaky Forester and the Run Away From Combat handler. Freaky Forester was again misinterpreting the dialogue telling us which tailed Pheasant to kill. I'm making a firecape bot. I need people to suggest "options" it should have. EDIT: It will do all 63 waves. I need a paint too so if someone could throw something cool together, that would be nice EDIT 2: Yes i will need beta testers! The more people to test, the better. EDIT 3: What order should the bot kill the monsters? 22->360->180->90->45? EDIT 4: I have waves 1-14 done. I think I found an easier way to make it though EDIT 5: Pm me for more info on beta testing the script. I will need many people to test it out and make sure it is flawless before it gets released. I am no longer making a firecape "bot", now i'm making a firecape "helper". It will be similar to xmpkhelper, but tell you what to pray, what wave you are on, etc.

IMO RS3 will and already has brought in a lot of players so i don't think Jagex themselves will go down. And as for 07scape i think it will be around so long as there are people playing it. It would piss a lot of vets off if they closed 07scape.

I personally don't think that they will shut it down. Because of how many people started playing 07 scape instead of EoC, they increased the amount of time 07 servers would be up (prices and such.) I hope they won't because that is all I play now. Also, rs3 is getting mixed signals from the community, so it's not a given.

Around the forums you may see me say the phrase "bot smart" and this is what I mean when I say it. The offence expiry is in 2014 when it clears out your ban meter, but the ban will end in 1 day try login to RS3 it'll give you the exact hour you'll be unbanned.

By the looks of it, August 3-4, so about 3-4 days? Eric Version 1.3.4 has been pushed out. This version adds special attack support, fixed the custom random handlers, added the ability to stop after a certain amount of time (in minutes, in the "Actions" tab), and adds ability to save multiple different settings profiles (if you use the script on different accounts). Because of the settings profiles change, the script no longer automatically loads the settings. You must go to the "Load & Save" tab to create a profile and load it each time. Eric

Alright, Thanks Ridiculous, only way to change the IP for uverse is to have them mail me another router and replace this one, why they make it static in the first place and cause so much trouble is beyond my understanding. Anyways they won't charge a thing for the replacement because i told them someone is trying to hack me Haha so you are getting a free change! You are welcome haha.

Recently i have been testing out different local/SDN scripts and it has been quite surprising at the amount of scripts that are not fully functional. It would be great to see a sectional moderator incharge of just scripts. Therefore they can all be tested and the ones that are not working can be updated by the scripter or removed. I just dont feel that it gives a positive image to OSBot if you were a new member. I mean think about it, you join osbot and great it's free. Then you go to add a script and it doesnt work. You then realise that that there is no other alternate scripts you can use. (eg. Using a pure ess bot and then its outdated and there is no other pure ess miners). If this happens then people are just going to leave OSBot and go towards the competitors. Sorry if this was a little long and it seemed like i am whining a little but i just felt the need to get my point across:) Let me know what you guys think though as i am happy to do this as i've got alot of spare time atm:) tl;dr - need a sectional moderator to test scripts to ensure all are functional else it risks off putting new members.

Sure if you think $2/month is cheaper but you HAVE TO STAY for 6 months.... a 6 month contract is not worth the extra $2/month I save. I'm sorry cuz I'm a little bias and have a hate towards VIP but...there should be more things to make people want SPONSOR not VIP. I agree with both sides. It is YOUR responsibility to check if something you're downloading even works so read comments and check dates. BUT also, you don't want to have to search through like 10 scripts to only find 1 script that works/updated. I don't think OSBot needs a dedicated script section mod but if a forum mod just cleans up that section once and awhile not all the time, that would probably be best. repeat. Don't make another type of mod just get a forum mod to go check out the script section and clean it up once and awhile...

To be honest it is a bit pointless asking the community, although we may be friendly people still have to make there own methods to farm gold and make money, so your best bet is to experiment a little bit and see what you can come up with!

Get creative, watch the market, think of your own ways. No one should just spoonfeed the entire community all of their moneymaking ways. No one said it's going to be easy, and about 100% of the things you can do that require NOTHING are high ban rate, and if you want to make "a lot of $$" then I would suggest you get a bunch of accounts and find something to farm

It get's stuck at the banking I'm not sure that's the scripts fault I've experience being stuck on normal OSRS w/o a bot... but having a self fix would be bueno

Because what is the point of doubling the system? If we allow negative feedback to float freely, we may as well stop banning people. Why? What's the point of leaving a negative feedback to ban the user? Who is to say what is just in a sense of a "legit" negative feedback? We do the best we can using the feedback system seeing it was created for a community-ruled market. Ours is moderated.

So lately ive been having a problem with withdrawing a certain item that isn't in view, when the bank is open. I heard around the forum of other people having this same issue. One of the suggestions I would add to botting smart is that you should play legit at least one hour a day. Do some quests, do some trading, talk to people. Show Jagex that you aren't just some crazy guy who only gets on to woodcut for 10 hours. Nobody just plays for one skill, or to sit and grind all day (except maybe those guys ranked #1 on the Hi Scores). If you take in more aspects of the game play they provide such as quests and mini-games (preferably not botting), you'll definitely be less considered as a botter. Source: I've done this on all the accounts I bot on, I've never been banned in 2 years of botting. I have a nearly maxed pure account whose magic, ranged, woodcutting, fletching, thieving, strength, fishing, and cooking have all been botted. I bot for 10-12 hours a day, take a "main" break (6-8 hours) and play legit for 1-3 hours a day.
