Client detectability (mirror+normal client)

So recently I got all of my accounts except one banned.

Bot 1: Mirror only, main

Bot 2: No mirror, back-up main (lol)

Bot 3: No mirror, goldfarmer

Bot 4: No mirror, goldfarmer

Bot 5: No mirror, soon-to-be goldfarmer

So, I had botted the shit out of accounts 1-4, using mirror on only the #1. All botted recently. Was going to train up a 3rd goldfarming account and went to Gnome Agility Course, being the fuck-up that I am, I fell asleep and it ran for 6h and obviously a J-Mod came by. No other accounts were logged in and I always delete random.dat.

Needless to say, bot 2-5, all using the normal client got hammered with a permanent ban but #1 was completely untouched.

Conclusion:

Mirror client is undetectable (just as promised), the only bans happening on this is if you get caught LIVE by a j-mod and he monitors you and sees bot-like behavior. Even though every script writer strives to make their scripts as human-like as possible, it's still not hard to tell when someone is botting based on their stats, banks and behavior (if you monitor). However, once you're done botting and haven't been caught - you're 100% safe (never recieved a delayed ban once I'm done botting and I've gotten several 99s, been reported and also botted A LOT (15h a day).

Normal client can however be easily detected and you will even recieve delayed bans because of this. But still not automatically, meaning jagex cant just press a button to see everyone whos ever used a botting client, they'll have to manually check you or bump into you in-game. The bump into you in-game thing is based on something that happened over a year ago. During bot busting event jmods went to green dragons (streaming) and killed bots (loots for everyone) and then banned them, however during this event they kept warning people who have ever botted their accounts to not come near the j-mods, however some people still did and they got banned instantly, as if they had some kind of tool that automatically looked up people standing close to the jmods.

Keep in mind that these things are based on MY EXPERIENCE and are not set in stone, I've botted for a very long time and that's what I've come up with.

yes, i think the client doesn't inject anything, it reads and renders the information that is being sent to you so ofc it won't be detectable

but if you think jagex only bans depending on if they detect your bot then u arent going to get far

you need a quality script always

edit: no disrespect its just the way i type XD

One of the important posts that was lost from the SSD wink.png

IMO as well, this is what I reported too based on my main which was eventually banned on mirror.  My other fresh account, fresh setup (IP,etc) bots strong 10+ hours a day.

Thanks for the thorough report.

I'm going to assume it was the script and not the mirror client.  Some of these scripts, I've noticed they lack the ability to be dynamic while others are programmed to be dynamic.  We as humans don't function linearly and are dynamic in activity.  This is how scripts must be programmed, they can't b A to B, there needs to be randomness between that function like that of a human.

Eg.  Rather than running from A to B perfectly every time, make different point locations where you target to go to.  Occasionally have the bot hang and not respond as though you got distracted, maybe run back to A (misclick) and then run back to B.

The turning to view needs to dynamic as well for better clicking.  I'll assume part of the data collected to determine if you are a bot is returned X, Y, Z values.  It could be as simple as being sent with the client to server request w/ 3 int values.

Really? 5 accounts is not even statistically significant, not to mention the bias in this. You only botted one mirror, on your main, which is the account you value most, and are therefore most likely to bot carefully on. The fact that it doesn't get banned doesn't mean very much.

I don't know if the mirror client's safer, it is advertised to be and I certainly hope so, but seriously people need to stop making these threads. You can't draw any conclusions from this.

Ok it just happened again. I tried to train up 2 new goldfarmers and a void PKer. Using mirror on the voider and non-mirror on the others. Went to MLM on goldfarmers and ranging guild on voider. This was during the weekend when jmods arent even on, so no live bans occured. I log on now to find 2/3 accounts banned, I'll let you guess which.

Regarding my main, I botted 16h/day for over two weeks straight, people walked by me when I wasnt paying attention and talked to me and then called me a bot "reported", no bans. Careful enough to use mirror but that's the only difference.

IT IS safer. Don't know why you're against it, your scripts don't work properly on it?

I believe the mirror is 100% undetectable too, that is my own opinion. I've botted 100's of hours using the mirror client, only ban was by a live jmod.

What scripts gets checked by live Jmod frequently?

Like does Hunter skilling gets checked by live jmod frequently or no?

and for the mirror client, God I wont love to use this but the CPU usage is just too much, I was using KHal's blast furnace and It couldnt function properly cus of tremendous amount of CPU usage. however, with AIO Hunter I was able to use mirror

Any idea when they will update for performance issue?

Majority of us doesnt have the I-series CPUs

and yes I was using low CPU mode and doesnt make much difference.

If also anyone can PM me a good VPS server sellers that can run mirror mode with its CPU usage.

Now in my case, I've botted 3 accoutns in total already.. my first 2 were all standards, banned

my 3rd one, I did hunter for a bit on mirror mode, the performance wasnt great at all and it was super slow .. I decided to switch to khal's furnace in mirror mode, but then again it could nto function, so I switched to standard, was able to bot for a whole day, then went botting today again for like 30 minutes, came back from breakfast and I got banned (note that I did quests, other skilling, cmb lvl 20, talking to others before botting/while botting) and I still got banned lmao. however there was a Player-Mod on, i dont know if that makes any difference.
