That would be a good idea, support happy.png It may get tedious for mods as the ModCP is located below the banner if it was just the actualy text that was clickable then it would be perfect.

But put an X or something so I still close it. :)

I hate the banner as it is, so I wouldn't support this.

just mouse over it to close it.

I think maldy is the one that can access the ftp server to change the website.

hmm, hopefully he will see this then ^_^

I don't like it to begin with, not sure why laz added it. People always managed to download the newest version some how, not sure why we need an annoying drop down.

It would be different if we were pushing 2-3 clients a day or something crazy, but we aren't.

I don't like it either, but if its going to be there, it might as well be as efficient as possible

Or we might as well get rid of it? It's annoying and absolutely useless, it pops up on almost every refresh / topic you click and if someone is stupid enough to not know how / when to download the latest client, then let them be stupid.
