RoomScape
You forget that Goldengates also left for the other client donated over there and realized it was junk and came back. Eliot and Cinnamon aren't denied yet, if you asked them they could tell you. People make mistakes why should we punish them forever for it? Trust me it isn't about friends, i make the promotions and i ask for their vote of course, but in the end it comes down to me. I want the best staff team whether the others think it is a good idea or not. Just because they left doesn't mean they still aren't the best, they came back and I went to them. Lets look at your friend theory Jordan- We didn't like each other at all Mikasa- I made a post asking for his demotion when he was global mod Raflesia- He denied me for mod for months Smart- I suggested him for mod to Kati and Raflesia before I got demoted. Gilgad- Someone we had our eye on for over 1 month before we promoted him Sherlock- A very great moderator and very great Chat Box Assistant, has the knowledge to handle a lot of things, I was never friends with him, nor did i ever speak to him other than recently. Arctic- A very trusted user, that has previous experience on another site that hasn't been here that long, but shows the dedication it takes to become a great moderator Solstice- I used to mod with him back in the day when we were both very young, and we did reports faster than anyone and handled everything appropriately. Yes mistakes happened and we both lost our rank, but we are back better than ever. As soon as Laz told me he was promoting me to admin to get a staff team together the first thing i did was UNBLOCK jordan from skype and ask him if he was staying at osbot because i needed him on my staff team. We have over 3,000 people on per 24 hours, we have less than 10 mods, I don't want to be one of those forums like PB and the admin replies this to me when I ask him when my report(of a post) would be taken care of. "It will be taken care of in less than 24 hours."... It takes literally 30 seconds to handle a reported post, I don't want someone to have to make a thread asking why their report wasn't handled. On another site: PM's staff member They look at it and don't reply. Staff member is posting in random PM's another staff member... Staff member is posting in random... PM's admin... *IGNORED* Just to sum it up. An admin actually blocked me from pm'ing him. I found a vader and he was the only one online so I pm'd him - it's faster than posting a thread - and I found out that that user has chosen not to receive pm's from me. Very professional. I posted a thread about the ban evader. Ban evader got banned. I got muted because I didn't use proper format. I checked the 10 most recently created threads and no one else used the format, but none of them got muted. They don't set their priorities straight and they rather go trolling in random than moderating. There is 2-3 staff members that are genuine, in my opinion. ---------- Here: Staff was recently promoted quickly, but that's not always a bad thing. You guys just need to make sure that you choose the right mods. So long as the staff are chosen correctly, it doesn't matter much if they were promoted quickly, so long as they're good and what the community demands. More mods don't necessarily equate to a better moderated forum, though. A few good moderators can adequately moderate a big forum, so long as they know what they're doing and they're efficient with it. Also, timezone should play a role in mod promotions. Before @Sherlock, there were no staff on at all for a few hours at a time. That can be disastrous, as proven by @Lsd since he did his 'scamquit' while all staff were offline and no one to ban him immediately. The staff shouldn't all be under one time zone, they should be spread out to better moderate the forums throughout the day. I don't really have any complains about the current staff though, they all seem to be doing a good job, aside from the market. Some of them could be a bit more active in the market. Jin
PM's staff member They look at it and don't reply. Staff member is posting in random PM's another staff member... Staff member is posting in random... PM's admin... *IGNORED* People know they are staff as soon as registering. 4,000 daily users, think about how many private messages directed to them? It wouldn't be an instant reply, just be patient, they'll get to it. Also how do you know they look the message?

Jordan
1 word: professionalism, this goes for all admins/mods, they are quite immature or don't have a serious attitude which is good to an extend, i feel it has come to a point to where we as players dont know when a mod is serious unless he says he literally says "I'm serious". i feel like there should be a more professional attitude installed. i also feel that if we where to hire people, these people would be best fit for the job not just because they know someone, lastly, i feel like some of the moderators where hired to quickly and they should have to wait a bit longer before being able to become a staff member I think there's a line for volunteer mods. We're respected/trusted members who don't get paid. We want to get fun out of it, but also do out job well. But I do agree some of us need to improve. Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm really trying to improve on the following things right now: Responding to PMs Activity Professionalism I don't want to give anyone the wrong impression. I will dedicate time to anyone, and I want to do it professionally, I don't try to ignore anybody ever.

What mods are you pming that aren't replying, also i know you pm'd maxi laz or zach, which aren't community admins they are developers. They don't handle stuff like that nor do they have time. That is what I and the rest of the staff are here for. They don't even check 99% of their inbox isn't read unless its script or bot related. You got muted for not using the format... I don't believe that one bit. Who muted you for using the wrong format? I've never seen one of my mods go on the troll rather than handling something that needed handling that was brought to their attention.

Yes because other sites have a random section that allow people to post dox and real life information about people and the reply from the mods/admins are "lol"

solononforever
Smart and Jordan regularly visit the Dispute section and im pretty sure mikasa helps the noobs who ask for help. The globals are always on chat (replying to messages) . Assisting globals in chat . Trial mods are being trial mods. And Maldesto is Managing all of them. If someone told me to reply to the same messages ("My osbot doesn't work") everyday , 7 days a week for free, Il tell them to suck dick. And also the fact that the community is thriving and more people are joining shows they are doing something right? #FSU Squad ~ Solononforever
