I was reading this thread, and to me it seems a little fucked up lol. Thats called entrapment. He convinced this dude to break a rule, by acting like he was gonna go along with it. Shouldn't they both be banned, or at least have the same punishment? just how i see it

I honestly feel bad for him, sure he was going to break a rule, and probly had intentions to scam but he took the whole blame when he got led on by another member, who should take just as much of the blame, and should be banned as well in my eyes

No. He should have just got a warning for asking to have a fake feedback considering the fact that everybody else only got a warning point for fake feedbacks as well. It isn't fair that he's the only one that got banned for fake feedbacking.

He didn't convince the other guy to break the rule, he only played along to get a rule breaker (who was probably going to use the fake feedback to scam) banned. He did a really good thing in my opinion.

I've read the thread and I think that is fine, appearing to co-operate is entirely different to co-operating. Yes he is a bit of a snitch but I don't feel he should be punished for basically getting enough evidence together to get this guy off our forum and stop him from scamming people.

The police do this with paedophiles and no one batters an eyelid at that so I don't see what the problem is with this? Give the guy a pat on the back for his efforts in fact he didn't have to take the time out of his day to create a dispute to get him banned.

He didn't really "trap" him, since the guy straight up said that he wanted to swap feedback.

He should have just got a warning & feedback removed though.

I think its wrong to support this guy when he's asking to break a rule is all im saying. He could've said "No man sorry, thats against the rules" and taught him a lesson, instead of getting him banned lol. Everyone wants to start off with a feedback, and maybe he didnt read the rules. Maybe it was his intention to get a good feedback and scam, but i still think theyre both to blame

Poor guy...someone should sit down with him and teach him the rules instead of banning him :(

alll he deserved was a warning not a ban

There's like 3 people with like 5 feedback and the people that gave the feedback have 0 posts I'm about to report them and I hope they don't get banned lol it's only fake feedback.

idk if thats really reportable. i have 42 feedback, and i can say that like... 20-25 of them are from members who didn't even have the 40 posts to post on my service section lol. They either pm'd me or added me directly from skype. Alot of them had 1-10 posts

these accs were made on the same day logged in once never logged in again obv fake

Shouldn't of been banned, remove the feedback and give an infraction/formal warning.

Ban seems very harsh to me, that el3vens guy should also be warned as he never told the user it was against the rules and basically encouraged him to do it.

If it was me, I'd of told him it's against the rules, hoped he wouldn't of done it and just had a quiet word with a staff member. He wouldn't of been banned, no pointless thread would've been made, no neg feedback for staff to remove and they could just keep their eye on him or update him on the rules.

Didn't handle it well imo, (the member who made the thread or the staff member who handled the situation).
