New car

Featured Replies

I am now the owner of a 2016 Wrangler AND a 2013 Smart car.

I used to hate them too when I was younger because I thought they were unsafe and lame being "green", But fuel is expensive AF and Insurance where I live is expensive AF.

My wrangler consumes about 12.7L/100km highway/city with a 2" leveling kit and 33s with a standard trans, also pay ~$350 / month for insurance

The new to me smart car consumes ~4.7L/100km combined which is great and will cost around $175/mo to insure.

I bought the smart because I drive my wrangler maybe once a week and my GF cant drive standard (iv'e tried to teach her but no success) and she currently takes transit to get to work which is sketchy at best and it's a terrible system.

So I save money and help my GF at the same time. Win/win. She also doesn't know I bought it and have been trying to keep this whole thing on the DL for the last week.

my deductable is $1000 also. There's nothing anyone can do about it since it's not regulated by the government like it is in BC for example.

What you're saying is you've lost your dignity.

I'm fairly certain that's what he's saying, yes.  Did anyone else notice his voice went up an octave as well?
