Hate on moderators (THE TRUTH)

Featured Replies

Lately i've been seeing a lot of hate on Anne and some on other mods over Led getting a warning strike and over a MM feedback rule. Please note this thread isn't against Occazn, the mother fucker actually uses logic and supports his arguments, not hating on him. From what I hear Led obviously tried bypassing a rule when saying the term he said, it can be argued but obviously that is what happened, the dude has even said he's retired from the forums so I don't understand why anyone would give two fucks anyways, it wasn't a ban, it was a warning, it's not like he breaks rules daily.

SECONDLY, the new MM feedback rule that was put into place. Please note the staff at OSBot aren't magical mother fuckers, they can't update the bot or change things in a split second. Obviously the staff made a decision and didn't apply it yet, but starting enforcing it, this is the reason some people were angry that it wasn't in the list of rules. Anne even asked an admin if the decision was right and she was told it was, so all you people thinking screaming "DEMOTE" is going to work you're simply wrong lol. The new rule is going to be enforced and all the staff i've talked to is behind Anne. Without the rule you'd be getting two feedback for each trade which isn't fair.

Lastly, this is a forum, the purpose of the mods is to keep the forum cleaned up and monitored, if you guys think going against them will work you're wrong, You have to see the argument from both perspectives and understand what the fuck is going on before you riot.

Also: if you're wondering how hard it was to make a thread that actually made sense, it was very hard.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.

They do a lot of behind the scenes stuff that none of you know of.

Be appreciative.

Still don't get this.

Agree, the staff are getting it hard at the moment.

The minority of people that are hating on the staff need to take a step back, climb down off their high horse and quit acting like spoilt pre-teen girls.

I don't have a clue what's happening, nor do I give a fuck.

2pac is now on my thread, THE GOD IS HERE.

I don't understand why anyone would give two fucks anyways, it wasn't a ban, it was a warning, it's not like he breaks rules daily.

^Which mod edited that into my post? I want to know.

It wasn't the fact that he got warned instead of banned, and a warning means nothing, it's the principle. Getting warned for a BS reason so much as mentioning another botting community isn't necessarily the best feeling in the world. It makes you think of the moderator that did it as power-abusing, and needs to calm down a bit. Sure, the warning will expire, but getting in trouble for something that doesn't make sense isn't right.

The MM feedback rule is a dumb rule in my honest opinion.

The role "Trader" is there for a reason, and to me, I think if you get a feedback from a MM, it shows that you aren't a scammer even more so than just trading 1 on 1. It makes it look like you like to take precautionary measures against somebody in which you don't trust, and they don't trust you as well.

No one is necessarily starting a riot, people are just complaining at the fact of rules that don't make sense and warnings that don't make sense as well. If your country's government did something that went public and didn't make any sense at all, what would you do? Would you sit there and say "Well I guess I can understand their perspective of it" or would you complain about it by providing logic-thought evidence towards why you think it's a bad idea, and why you think their actions don't make sense.

You're right about the MM rule, it can be debated, some people can see it as you interacting with two people, but some people also see it as ONE solid trade, it is debatable about that. The thing that happened to Led could of been an mistake, but like you said everyone made mistakes, if it was it can be erased obviously and forgotten about.

Also: led and you have to understand that you two are important people in this community, watching what you say is needed, that's where the riot part came in, express your opinions in a way that won't make people flip out and leave.

Yeah, but if you were here in the reign of Peter, he had one mistake with a member called Medic, and got demoted for that one mistake.

The newly added MM rule has no affect to the market whatsoever. It only changes the vision of people.

Trust is based on the amount of feedbacks someone has. Allowing MM's to give feedback to buyer and seller, will cause them to receive two feedbacks for the same trade, meaning that these persons will be marked as trusted faster then they should be.

See it this way, person A has 100 positive feedback and person B as well. The only difference is that person B received double feedback for every trade he did.

Seeing the 100 positive feedback gives you an idea of how trusted that person is, so you'll see them both as equal, but person B is actually much less trusted.

Person A has done 100 trades that went positive, while person B actually only did 50 positive trades, but received double feedback.

We try to avoid this kind of issues, so that it isn't that easy to become trusted. Person B should stand under person A, and not near.

We hope that we will stimulate the market some more with this rule, giving feedbacks more value, and to be sure that trusted members have really earned their title.

And why can a middleman receive two feedbacks? Simply because they hold the money of two members, not one.

There is more risk involved, so more trust should be gained if the trade goes succesfull.
