Idk I dropped RS for 2 Years now coming back and its way more fun again I think you should always go with the flow what you like to play and sometimes you just lean back on old stuff and you love it again.

When I started loosing motivation all I did is just build a different type of an account I've never built, normally a pking account.

RS is always more fun after taking a break. So; take a break!

yeah. i recently bought some extremely expensive accounts. I'll play them for an hour or two and just get upset and have to resell them for so much less.

Join a clan, do pk masses on weekends. It's really fun, that's the only reason I actually "play" runescape.

I agree that you should indeed take a break, clear your mind and then come back!

i lost mine when i started to value real life achievements over runescape ones

i play for around 3 months on, and then a month off. ALL THE TIME.

 

trust me take a break, buy a new game, play an old one, etc.
