I thought about coming back to OSRS, but if I'm going to be banned in a few weeks / months there's no point in coming back.

 

So that's my question, how are the ban rates? If I botted 5-10 hours a day, being "smart" about it - would I likely get banned? 

ban rates are a myth and there is no clear cut way in determining whether or not you will get banned and the percentage or likelihood of it.

It depends what you mean by botting "smart"

Cause that shit doesn't exist, realistically you're probably going to get banned quite quickly and not last >2 weeks

botting these days has gone down the drain, the bans are so bad I haven't botted in years.

I botted 80-99 range in about a week in a half of off and on botting never left the spot i was at... sooo beg to differ paid scripts work like a charm 

Yeah I botted 84-99 strength with a basic free script 3 weeks 10hours/day. Now I keep getting banned within a week.

Personally, my experience in the past month has been really high banrates. I can't keep an account unbanned for more than a few days.
