Just wondering what is better for botting a vpn or a proxy? Are they the same thing or which one is better?

Hello guys. I'm new to botting and I want to know if it's safe to bot on the same network/IP address as my main while not utilizing VPNs or proxies. I'm running my 4 bots on a separate pc from my main. My main also had a 1 day minor ban back in 2017 (quashed/expired now).. Should I be using VPNs/proxies? My budget is pretty low for expensive services. What do you guys recommend?

Has anyone seen any fluctuation in ban rates during DMM? Not botting DMM itself, but just botting OSRS during the DMM tournament.

I wonder how long a bot has to last to be worth using. If it gets banned after only 5 hours of botting i would not use it. Do your bots last 50, 100 or more hours?

Hey, Are the ban rates lower on mobile than on PC? And if this is true. Could i then mirror my botfarm to an android emulator on PC? While using different proxies?

With the new 24hr restriction, what is the best method for suicide botting now?

Is there ban rates on combat levels or is that a myth. Also any tips and or advice for botting levels. such as fishing, woodcutting, combat?

I wanted to do bossing as an Ironman, but did not have the time to do some of these early tedious grinds, so I botted it to get a head start. I lasted around 2 months on a fresh ironman account with mirror-mode only. The account was about 80% botted and I was starting to think that I was invincible, hah. I ended up with the following stats: Scripts that I used: My routine: Mirrored only! Botted 18hours a day. (05:30ish to 23:00ish) 6min Bot-break every 27minutes. I played legit on mirrored mode client only. (Quests/birdhouseruns/etc) Botted different skills almost every day. Used 2 costum paid scripts and the rest was paid ones. (BIG shout-out to @Juggles for those custom ones) Ban: 2 - days. I can finally play the game! How was I banned? Honestly I can't tell for sure. I mean who can, but I believe it was a Wintertodt script I was using at the end. Hi - I've been playing for a very long time and I just experienced something for the first time. I have a Zulrah goldfarmer and a main. I went to GE to x-fer the money and I picked the same world, but I was unable to see either account, in fact, there was no crossover in other players in GE. Even though it said we were both in 387 on both clients, it was as if we were in different worlds. I even pmed a friend to verify what world I was in on both accounts, yet we saw completely different players. I then thought, I bet this is a world where Jagex puts flagged bots. Then they can more easily monitor accounts if they put every single one in this fake proxy world. I was able to work around this by exiting both clients and restarting. Within 24hours, my account was given a 2 day temp ban. Thoughts?

Haven't been active in a while but wanted to get back scripting/farming and I found an old file with ~5000 accounts. no way I was going to check them manually so I wrote a script that checks each account for its status. Currently only supports: Account disabled Account locked Account active (logs in) Invalid login details If you get any other login error the script will most likely crash, however I don't know of any other errors that happen regularly. If you have any suggestions let me know I'll add them in. How to use Create a file called "accounts.txt' in your OSBot/Data folder. This file holds all of your accounts. WARNING: If you want to keep a list of all your accounts together make sure to back it up because the accounts will be deleted from "accounts.txt" along the way! The file should be the following format: user:pass user:pass user:pass user:pass user:pass Now you can run the script. You have to run the script with CLI, because norandoms is required. java -jar "path/to/OSBot.jar" -login user:pass -bot x:y:0000 -world 83 -script NaaizBanChecker:0 -allow norandoms The script will cycle through all accounts divide them into 4 groups: Active Banned Invalid Locked The accounts will be placed in their respective text files in the OSBot/Data folder. You do NOT need to create these files beforehand. Script will stop when the "accounts.txt" file has no more accounts in it. There is a known bug which causes the script to skip out on the last account in the file, which is being worked on. If you run into any problems let me know and I'll fix them asap. So a month or two ago I managed to get my 105 cbt main perm banned, after getting scammed and botting to try and get my bank back (yeah I was stupid to get scammed). I was reading some threads on here which say they've overcome perm bans - is it too late to recover mine, and is it even possible? Thanks.

Hello, I am curious if Runescape can detect the OSbot client. I recently got a 48 hour ban on my account. I have not botted much and when I do bot ai am almost always around the screen to occasionally speak/avoid issues. Surprised that I was banned after such a short time and how varied my activity was. In the ban, they say they can 100% detect all botting clients. How likely is this and how safe am I to continue using very occasionally again? Thanks.

I was just looking at some posts/news from 2011 and I saw this among other things: http://services.runescape.com/m=news/bot-busting-update-legal-proceedings Whatever happened to Jagex taking legal actions against botting companies like they talked about in that article? I have not seen or heard about anything more recent than their 2011 lawsuits against Ibot.

After the update a few of my friends have been banned. Anyone else been banned? If so what scripts were you using?

Hey y'all! I was wondering if you guys could share your experience on getting a delay ban. Has anyone suicide botted for a day or two and let the account sit for couple days to see if you'd get banned or not? Just curious because I tried it on a throw-away account as an experiment and suicided for 16 hours straight and it's been doing fine the past two days

I have 3 botting accounts collecting resources to then give them to my main account. With this there is risk of ban if my main account is connected from time to to take what made the other 3? I should connect my main to another ip to make this tradeo?. If I do not there is a risk of contracting ban ?. If you know of any vpn, to be able to use with my main account, please tell me. Thanks to those who bothered to enter the post, I would appreciate you to solve my doubt :).

watup guys, i got hit with a 2 day ban botting chins on a main account i was desperate for $ . because all the other accounts i make always get banned .. any tips or help to prevent further bans appreciated

Just logged into this. Well I can't complain, although I would have liked to go longer, I certainly am not stopping here. I started in 2014 and lets just say im between 3-5 bans now (to nervous to show exact amount cause of LURKERS) I am past the 2k milestone which is fantastic, esp for botting since a lot less chances for reports! Botting your main is a risky endeavor but honestly do it right, and be patient and I know you guys can keep getting your accs up there. How I got banned: I wasn't playing much scape / wasn't around much the entire week before my ban, and the only scripts I used were: Czars fisher, agility and I think I did some herblore in there aswell. an hour in the morning hour at night. I am 99% sure it was agility that got be smashed as thats what I was botting last and logged into a ban from. Despite asking czar multiple times to fix it, I still take responsibility as I should have just held off / bought another agility script that was being more closely maintained. Either way still got lots of XP using his script and a few others. HAPPY BOTTING ! See you all next summer :p

I received a 2 day ban for "Bot Busting (moderate)" and it claims that I well regain access to my account in 2 days. However, I have been reading that a lot of people get this 2 day ban, then go to login after it has expired only to find that they are perm banned. What's your experience with this? Also, it shows that it is a 2 day ban, but shows the expiry date as 1 year from now.. anyone notice that as well?

Quite peculiarly story.. I have been botting using OSBot for about a week now and have gotten some decent stats. Last night, for some reason, I got worried about a ban and started to read up on people's ban stories and researching bot bans in general. I also ran a quick bot session as I went to bed that would stop about 1.5 hours in after running out of herblore resources. When waking up this morning, I attempted to log in- I got on, then got logged out 3 seconds later, tried again and said my account is disabled. 2 day ban. Why is it that I seemed to be banned right after looking into botting bans? What a coincidence... I am going to play legitimately for a long time on this account after this incidence, if not forever. What are your opinions on botting on it again? Thank you!

So was botting my bot acc. Logged on to my main to actually play. 10 minutes in boom ban. bot account still up thogh. must be IP flagging. Any good proxy servers?

Hi, I just had 2 accounts banned together just now. Both perma banned. One of them was botting with czars fletcher. And I had only used stealth quester on the other account and got my mithril gloves + was doing desert treasure releated quests on my own + slayer tasks + skilling.. Whats weird is that the one using stealth quester got hit with a perma ban straight up. No half ban. The one fletching had a half ban prior tho. I'm assuming it was a chain ban. Anyways be careful guys! Don't bot 2 accs on the same ip lol

So I'm doing what is supposed to be very light botting, just doing 1 simple slayer task on my main. I have to kill a couple things in the gnome stronghold slayer cave. I have about 50 left to kill and I get called in to go to work. I forgot to stop the script.... I was gone for over 5 hours. for over 5 hours it was just clicking on a slayer monster and receiving "this isn't your task" or whatever. From reading the chat I know I got reported a minimum of 2 times Its been 5 hours since I got back, no ban yet. What are my odds of survival you think?? ;) Bets on what time I receive a ban? loll
