IPs from VPNs should be assumed to be flagged which increases your chances of locks/bans. Since you aren't VIP and I presume this was through OSBot, that means you'd have been using stealth injection which can & or will cause locks on fresh accounts.

Hi -
Around waves 34/35 seems to just keep clicking the mini-map around the center of the caves, I think it says something or other about unable to find tile.

Got my 2 day ban squashed - is my safety net restored?
arbicrax172 replied to adeathsmckitten's topic in Botting & Bans
Next ban will likely be a perma. There is no safety net when botting as you acknowledged. Depending on what the account I'm botting is for I'd usually just bot it until it gets permanently banned. Otherwise, if it's an account I care about I'd probably stop botting it. -

Nice to see all these scripts being released! Gonna give this a try when it gets approved.

What do you guys do after one of your bots gets hit with a 2-day?
arbicrax172 replied to Ranarra's topic in Botting & Bans
Switch proxies, continue botting to a perma then try to appeal unless it was an account I care about, in which case I'd probably stop. -
Looks good Could I get in on the beta testing too?

The above has some good advice on avoiding bans but nothing is guaranteed if you're botting.

I've seen some accounts that have had more than one 2 day ban but in my experience since I haven't botted any accounts old enough/with high enough total levels my 2 day bans usually always end up with a permanent ban. If the account was for farming you should probably expect a permanent ban next. If it was a main you'd like not to see permanently banned I'd suggest stopping while you're ahead.

Rent dedicated server (OVH) or DIY
arbicrax172 replied to EgoLiberation's topic in Community Discussion
It depends but over time I think having your own server outweighs renting one but you gotta keep in mind that electricity costs, up time, and all those other things are included in the cost of renting a server. Having you're own hardware will put all that on you. Plus I've heard that servers can get noisy so you'd need to deal with that. However, as a negative for renting, you don't own the hardware you're renting so you'll need to continue paying for it month to month. Depending on the scale you farm at, monthly costs could add up to the cost of buying your own server within a few months. -
Client keeps randomly hovering over the all tab of the chat box, in the logger there's an NPE, I don't know much at all of what I'm looking at but I do see something about isVisible so perhaps visibility is an issue again? https://pastebin.com/QivMnGGr

Look for better proxies, as the above say just unlock them. If you're getting locks in the first place though a second or more locks aren't to be counted out.

How much would accounts with full graceful sets sell for?
-
Pretty sure it is indeed proxy related. Jagex some time ago started blocking a bunch of IPs. You'll want to use residential proxies or mobile data for creating accounts. This is just an assumption but based on the fact that lots of IPs are now being blocked, I'd bet lots proxy providers that are easily found on Google, at least the cheap and otherwise datacenter proxies anyway, are blocked. You could also use your home IP of course to create accounts.
-
Could be a mix of both but I know nothing that goes into working with selenium so I'd say it's likely just your proxies. With all the IPs jagex is now blocking, I'd assume the cheaper the proxies and easier the provider is to find the more likely it is they'll be blocked.

does mirror mode cause less bans
arbicrax172 replied to RockyRheels's topic in Other & Membership Codes
Depends on what you're doing, how you're doing it and for how long, etc, etc but generally speaking mirror does help with ban rates. -
Well...cheap is cheap. The cheaper the proxies and easier the provider is to find, the more likely those proxies have long since been used and abused. I'd recommend against using webshare proxies.
-
Was also looking into doing this using SF but decided against it for one reason or another. Would make for a nice script to help you get into writing your own scripts with script factory if you haven't written any yet though.

Nice release

Using stealth is asking for a ban these days with fresh accounts depending on what it is exactly your botting and for how long. I haven't personally leveled any combat related stats, at least not in stealth lately aside from magic so I'm unsure how bans would be for the other combat skills.

1. Mirror mode doesn't support proxies, you'll need to look into something like Proxifier for that. 2. I usually use new mouse, hardware mouse means the client will control your mouse to interact with the client, so you won't be able to use your mouse on your computer while a script is running. See here for a bit more info on hardware mouse: 3. For mirror mode, yes you need a separate OSRS client for each account. 4. Yes, Jagex recently started blocking a bunch of IPs. Generally residential IPs like your home IP need to be used to create accounts, but I'm not experienced enough in account creation to say much more than that so take that as you will.

Gunman and Medusa were experiencing bans too from what I've heard so the creator included with BH may just need some more tweaking because Monke seems to be making a rebound now.
