Timmy's AIO Boot Collector and Cow Killer combo with a 180x180 made in paint is not going to last long, and people are going to be requesting refunds. 5. All SDN Upload requests required them to be tested. You would take your script, submit a request, Raflesia would put it into a private testing area. Here your script would die for about 3 weeks while testers would crash your money making method. Dear Community, Sadly, we're here to inform you all that @Raflesia is being demoted. He has had his Skype compromised which has led to various amounts of sensitive information being leaked that was supposed to remain confidential. On top of this incident, Raflesia has came to me proclaiming that he was hiding some things for a prolonged period of time. Shockingly enough, he has been working on another bot that will not be named. He was a former admin there, and now it seems he has been working for them since the day he “stepped-down”. We cannot have a staff member that is divided between two communities with conflict of interest, and for that reason he must part ways from our Staff Team. We have to protect the community, and with OSBot 2 coming out shortly we plan on growing even larger than before. We do not need anything else happening right now that would potentially hurt our user base. At this time I will remain as the only Community Manager, with my second in command, and right hand man being @Smart. He has been here and is the most experienced. If we decide to promote another administrator eventually it will be him. In other news, the staff and developers are working hard trying to get all the forum bugs and client bugs situated for the fully functioning OSBot 2 release. I would like to apologize to everyone on behalf of OSBot for bringing in an administrator that wasn't 100% here and dedicated. This is not meant to take away from what Raflesia has done for OSBot, as he has done wonderful things and will be forever be remembered. Please note that there are no hard feelings towards Raflesia, he is a friend of mine and will always be even though his Administrator duties will no longer be needed. Sincerely, @Maldesto

I remember when we used to allow guides to be sold. Literally within the first week, there were hundreds of disputes, that's not even an exaggeration. 95% of people who bought a guide of some-sort were unhappy. And the sad part is, you can't tell the difference between someone who is genuinely unhappy with their purchase, and someone who is using the guides content but just wants their money back. As for educational services, I believe that it will backfire in the majority of user's faces. For example, if two people purchase an essay on the same subject, the writer is bound to make similar points in the essay, which may lead to an investigation into plagiarism and would ultimately 'fuck' anybody up who had used the service in the past and those planning to utilise it in the future. On-top of the fact that the work standard could be poor and then this will just lead to ridiculous disputes. I personally don't think the sale of anything education-related should be sold in that way. If you cannot complete your own work because you're too lazy or incompetent, then you don't deserve the perks that come with perseverance. Sorry to say, that I'm against the suggestion for these reasons.

I've removed your scripts from the store. Users leaving and not letting us know about their scripts being updated etc have theirs removed from the store.

You should push the fact that OSD shouldn't even be a thing, and anyone who wants to write a premium script should have to apply to show they know what their doing. There's premium scripters who don't even know what an array is, and others who PM me the most obvious of questions. Keep the free market aspect, but if people are going to pay for something they should be receiving work from scripters who can actually fix bugs.

I know for a fact the majority of people are not going to waste their time porting over their scripts to work for OSB2. If I'm required to completely rewrite something I expect to be able to release it as a completely new product.

Yeah, I do nothing to harm the community, since this is essentially my home, I don't think I've gone a day without at least refreshing the forums once. :p But really, it's the internet, and it sucks that we can't trust people. As I've stated in the past, the Runescape botting community is by far the shadiest community I've ever been a part of. As a mod, I have to watch every single word I say at any given time, because people will try their hardest to use it against me in some way. On-topic though, I meant no harm from my first post, Raflesia was the original person that gave me the opportunity to prove myself as being fit to be a part of the wonderful mod team, and I will forever thank him for that. If the transferring isn't working, you will be able to release it as a new project. That is why I said we will maintain the old client for a month or two to allow the users who paid for their scripts to use them. Example below Day 1: Remove ALL scripts from store, an announcement is made saying osbot 1 will close in 45-60 days and we will maintain it until then so people who just bought scripts can use for 1-2 months. Day 30: still having the script writers maintaining their scripts and client being maintained on OSBot 1 Day 45: OSBot 1 still functioning Day 60: The development of OSBot 1 has stopped. By this time we hope to have a large OSBot 2 scripting team and full store of scripts. We won't make you transfer your customers if you have to rewrite the scripts, but if we do end up being able to transfer of course you will have to keep maintaining them or they will be removed from the store of course.

He won't be an admin again, at least while I'm here. They can't run different communities because they end up leaking/sharing information. The site we are talking have had all their staff over here advertising, bashing, and doing other various things to try to get their user base large. We have no respect for others, now if it was a different community or different type we may make an exception. We don't mind script writers writing for other bots, except this one as you know. It will be managed a lot better, Alek will step up, If people stop releasing a cow killer for 5 dollars every other week we may have a more organized and better one. Local scripts that are being put on the sdn for not reason at all is unacceptable and changes will be made. Especially with OSBot 2 coming closer and closer.
