The only way I'd support this is if the user comes back, they are allowed to get their username back. (This could be stated in the email sent to the user once their name gets changed)

We should be allowed to take names on the forums that a certain "INACTIVE" Member has if we request to. Like say theres a member called "Swag" Who hasnt logged into his account since.. May 2013.. We should have the chance to atleast request his name.. Whats the point of letting a user that hasn't logged in since fuck knows when keep a name he doesn't deserve? I will support this, but only under certain circumstances. In addition to the user being 4+ months inactive, that user should have 10 or less posts if someone wants to take that name. If that user does come back to the forums and does request his previous original name back, he should have it given back to him.

I am sure it was a (oh he develops a lot he is trusted, let's add his script to the sdn without going through it) It is to my knowledge admins do not go through the source code line by line, they simply run a malicious program to detect keylogs etc.. so it is easy to make an undetectable one. Idk all in all, it happens, and when they make off with 1b + $ from paid script, i think a ban to him is well worth 3-5 thousand $

My Insane Druids script is no longer in my premium script selector; whilst running it over night I found that my 2m and 2k herbs were gone and I was in Varrok Center whenever I checked on it in the morning...along with 5uck getting banned off the forums (I presume considering his name has been crossed through)....this makes me believe there's been hacking of some sort..however I am unsure and do not wish to accuse anyone without all of the facts. Has anyone else had their script removed and or lost items/gold?

If you agree posting factual information about him is ruining his rep then you pretty much agree that what he did was wrong. Not updating your scripts can happen to anyone for any reason. But coming back after a few months and not updating your old paid scripts yet still releasing new scripts is wrong.

One way of showing how thankful you are is posting the script link and person who made it in your post. Otherwise we are just looking at a flax spinning proggy.

I like the idea but theoretically couldn't someone come back after 3.5 months (on the 4+ month limit) and post one thing and repeat the process just to keep a name? What I'm trying to say is just because someone comes online and maybe posts something, it doesn't make them active. It is hard to measure level of activity, and hard to deduce what level of activity someone should retain to deserve to keep their name.

No, the user can come back at any time.

That isn't true. On another forum, my login is oloykobkob but my username is Mikasa, so it's possible to not change the login, to my understanding. If someone is named Mikasa for example before you came and agreed to change their "display name to "bob" you couldn't take mikasa because his "login" name is mikasa so it can't override that. I just tried to. I was going to implement this at a 6 month rule, and just change the display name so that their login name would be the same if they ever came back. tbh i would say just yolo it and delete the nubs account his fault for not being on 6 months
