Hello community. Today I'ed like to finally announce what our development team has been planning on for some time now. When we first started developing OSBot from the ground up, our development team had to rush much of the code that OSBot uses now. Part of the reason why is because we started development two full weeks after 07scape was already released. This meant we gave everyone a 2 week head-start. We had A LOT of competition, more so than we do now. We knew if we had any chance of being successful, we needed to release a working bot with a simple but robust API. Maxi and I would stay up at night for hours straight programming the bot from a day to day basis. We spent hours on Skype developing and planning everything together. We knew that we weren't the first 07 bot out there but we also knew all the 07 bots out there were primitive and undependable. Eventually the bot you use today was released and we've been working hard ever since to keep it up to date and enhance it. We've learned a lot from OSBot. We've gained a lot of experience and we're now ready to announce that we're going to rebuild OSBot from the ground up again, but this time with the experience and knowledge we've gained. Here's a list of goals that we want OSBot 2 to have reached before its release... A new and fresh JavaFX based GUI. Lower CPU and memory usages. A brand new, smart and simple API. Better API documentation. A smaller jar-file size. An advance web-walking/resource-walking system using smart and efficient algorithms. Automatic random event updates from our bot network without the need to re-download OSBot. Support for an integrated RS3 bot on the same platform. Offline support for when our servers become unreachable. OSBot 2 has no ETA at the moment. We will continue to provide full support for OSBot 1. Sincerely, the OSBot Team. Yes, however as stated in the OP, long-term support for OSBot 1 will still be available after the release of OSBot 2. The ability for OSBot 2 to handle OSBot 1 scripts has been considered as well. I've had plenty of time. I'm getting really irritated with all these script developers thinking I don't have enough time or that we're stealing money. We've paid script developers before, we will keep paying them. This is a legal buisness, not an illegal operation. This website's income is taxed and has to go through a process before it falls into the hands of script developers. That takes time. This reply is simply intended for you only, it's for everyone. Simply because I do not reply to the thread within minutes does not mean anything disturbing. I hope that most of your concerns were answered with the previous reply. As for web-walking, we've dumped data from about 1.3K map regions in RuneScape which is about 90% of the world map. We will be using this data with a combination of efficient algorithms to make web-walking fully automated and dynamic. It has not been fully planned however our development team has discussed the various options and we believe the right one will be written for OSBot 2. More info on web walking will be released as more development arises. Also, for those concerned that OSBot will support RS3. RS3 support will not be released right away. OSBot 2 will be designed in a way that an RS3 bot could be integrated. This does not mean that we are not focusing on 07. 07scape will come first. RS3 support will be a special update scheduled for OSBot 2.

Hello OSBot Community, I am resigning my staff position as Super Moderator. While I did have the option to still stay and be inactive I thought it would be a better choice to just not be apart of the staff anymore as the community would ask questions as to why a Super Moderator is very inactive. I didn't get the chance to be fully apart of this community, but I bonded greatly with the Staff Team. Two people I'd really like to thank is @Raflesia and @Smart. @Occazn made me laugh a lot. They accepted me as family as soon as I chose to start moderating. They were always so helpful; still are. Even if it was a short time, it was one to remember. He deserves his money.. before anyone else gets their money back. He put his product out there and everyone bought it. Got to use it. He got nothing but negative (rude/worthless) feedback. No one helped fix the problems, just complained it was broken. He is an amazing scripter and has an outstanding knowledge of java. It is sad to see his hard work go unrewarded.

Hi everyone, I'm leaving OSBot. First of all, I don't play Runescape anymore so I don't have a Need for the site. I have been sticking around the following month despite that, but now I don't want to. I tried my hardest to contribute to the site, and was absolutely tormented for it. I have not been paid a penny by the admins when I made them over a thousand dollars, and perhaps much more than that since they're probably keeping my payout. Beyond hard work and rewards, This community is backwards, and I have yet to meet a single kind/respectful person on here other than Ely and I barely even talked to her. Everyone is full of hate, and is incapable of empathy and nobody can appreciate others' work. I have never scammed a single person, or stolen from a person. I've always been respectful and active in the osbot chat. Just really dissapoints me to see this. I know there are even going to be hateful replies, probably about my script on my damn farewell thread. See ya.

Hello! I'm IPlayFair. And I am excited to have joined a, perhaps, darker side of the Runescape 07 Community! I'm looking forward to getting to know some of you. I started playing RS in 4th grade. I've been graduated for a few years now. I have always found ways in order to, for lack of a better phrase, take advantage of the less educated part of the RS community. I am not a botter, however. I have used Auto-clicker, but in my years of playing Runescape, I have gained a kind of respect for players who legitimately obtain their skill levels. I do not have anything against botters! Why else would I join this community? Luring, scamming, sometimes skilling to make my dough. But I joined OSRS for the lures. With the influx of rares in the game, and a huge majority of the players being completely oblivious to "luring", I have bit the hook and am allowing the fisherman to pull me in without a fight. The rush of waiting, super potted, prayer on, Ice Blitz ready to strike... It's like a drug. The accomplished feeling I get when I successfully lure some unsuspecting noob into the wild, and then watch them bow, is like meth. I'm glad I did it once. Anyway, I love OSRS. I'm looking forward to GWD coming out so I can illegitimately obtain some go(o)d items. Add me if you wish to play along!

One thing I would suggest doing is getting fraps downloaded on it and record it for like 2 minutes. Log off the VPS wait a couple mins, log back into the VPS and stop the video. Watch the recorded video and see if the FPS drop applies when you log in to the VPS or not.

This looks good though, as his won't be out for a while I would probably use this for clues Would also be cool if you could make it solve the puzzle boxes Although they're very easy it'd be nice to just not have to do them at all

What's with all the drama going on around here? Its a runescape botting site lmaoooo.. C'mon boys we aren't a bunch of females arguing over which One direction member has the best hair.. we all know its harry styles... Lets just all calm down and realize that if right now runescape never existed or this community never existed we would all still be alive and breathing. Not trying to bitch and continue the barrage of whininess but does anyone else notice the amount of PMS type arguments? Either way I'll be sticking around because overall I think the community has some cool people, and nice scripts to offer. Cheers!

Looks like I missed the big bot busting party there. As far as I'm aware that is an issue with zybez's API.. so Stark doesn't have control over that Stark and I have introduced every logical anti-skulling strategy that we have come up with to reduce any missclicks by the client.. sadly it still happens. The ditch issue, you can blame other people who gave Stark false feed-back, which resulted in him changing a flawless setup to a glitchy one. (He said on Skype there should be a fix tomorrow) Haven't seen the bot bank my equipment. Prior to leaving for the weekend I ran it 8 hours at around 195k/hr at wests The wild ditch is the one major glitch atm, but it does not stop the script from fully functioning. As stated earlier, it should be fixed tomorrow.

07 is dying anyways? Why not vote for something that might be able to ignite some new players to come and join? If I remember correctly they said that you won't be able to sell Godswords so that you have to earn it instead of getting it with GP. Void rangers are really OP right now so we need godswords to balance out the triangle IMO..
