Hey guys. I'm not up to date on my hardware and I'm looking for a build under 2k. It's supposed to support 4 monitors and remain fairly silent.

 

PS: The 4 monitors are not in the price.

What you wanna do with your Pc? Botting or just playing games?

 

Photoshop, video editing and such.

I built my PC 2 months ago and it was under $2,000.

This is quite a decent setup but it'd recommend, if you're reaching close to 2k to try and get one of the newest I7 processors (:

 

But ofcourse, if you'd use the pc for gaming this would make no sense.

Could you tell us more about what you'll do with the pc?

Is using photoshop, video-editing for fun or for professional use? Will you game on this Pc, if so; which games?

He said he wants to do video editing and such. So an i7 processor would be more optimal for him. For me, the Skylake i5-6600k was more than enough for gaming.

 

 

His setup will be different then, he'll probably need 32gb+ of RAM. And he could save money using LGA1150 instead.

No need in getting 32GB+ if its only for hobby imo. but yeah  you're right (:

Commit to the extra ram, in the long run it'll be worth it plus for professional work grab the i7-6700k you're going to want the performance boost from the i5.
