On special occasions, especially when I've seen them invite people into the chatbox and be more & more helpful, this will especially apply if this actually succeeds in reviving the chatbox. Then I read, and I was like wow this is an awesome idea and is actually motivating me to socialize. Eventually, I am sure I am going to enjoy chat box without the need of an incentive, but it's those initial awkward steps for me that stop me from being social.
