The Great Transition Forward - OSBot 2

By the way scripters, instancing/selling tabs will be available on the OSBot 2 SDN. This means most scripts will be dirt cheap for one tab and relatively moderate in cost for gold farmers running many bots.

Megusta.

Also, @Swizzbeat, where did you hear that only 5% of users renew? That's only assuming the script is terrible, so users no longer want to use it... (not saying that your scripts are bad)

My fishing script is the most bought script in the store and when I had a monthly on it only had someone renew about once every 3 days. Literally every script has a free/non monthly counterpart, so there's no need for someone to buy a script with a monthly fee if there's one that grants lifetime access. Even at other sites I always talk to people who vent their frustration about users not renewing monthly.

Well idk about you, but my CMHAbyss script wasn't even that popular, but I had at least 1 renewal every day, if not 2, plus new purchases.

And if it's forced monthly, then it won't matter..

I don't even see how you're complaining that one person renews once every 3 days, you're getting 10 renewals a month for a singular script that obviously doesn't add much more than other scripts out there.

Add some ingenuity to your shit and maybe people will pay for it. Give them something to renew for, something that no other paid or free script is going to give you.

Complain all you want and bitch as much as you can but you're getting free money for a days hours work split up over a period of time, don't be such a vampire.

All OSBot 2 scripts will be monthly, so there will be no one time fee counterparts to monthly scripts (or so I've been told).

@Swizzbeat, maybe you don't get renewals for your script anymore is because there are free fishers that are better than yours. Maybe

Got mixed feelings about this. At one side it's really great to see change (hopefully a better API and/or a client which is harder to detect), but I also feel that at the current state of OSBot 2 (bugs, high cpu usage) will not really increase the botting experience. But this might of course change in the future.

By the way Laz, do you have any intention on adding Groovy support? I'm probably the only one that still uses it (and I love the convenience of lambda expressions etc), but I will be sad to see it go.

The CPU usage on OSBot 2 is comparable if not lower than OSBot 1 now (I believe).

I think the 30 day trial is stupid.. I pay $13 for a script and now I have to buy it again..? I bought it like.. a week ago...

I thought I wanted to add input about this change, but honestly idiocracy in this thread disgust me to no end.

So much terrible information in one thread.

Please, elaborate. Your wisdom will not fall on deaf ears.

Same problem here, I've just PM'd the administrator.
