Story: Some guy wanted to buy GP from me (on another site) and I was hesitant, but I sold him some gold. He didn't chargeback for a while and wanted more GP later so I sold him more...and more...and more. Ultimately, it totalled out to ~4.5b EoC GP. I was reselling gold, this wasn't even gold I owned. I bought from someone else and sold to this kid in hopes of making a quick buck. I made about $100, maybe $200 profit from this transaction and I felt happy. I sold gold to a legit guy who didn't chargeback and I made some decent profit.

 

I ended up closing my PP thinking that that would save me from chargebacks in the event that he actually did chargeback. I was never so wrong in my life. The funds were reversed and I was left with a negative balance on a closed PP (if that's even possible). I got a call from PP two weeks later letting me know if this incident and how I need to pay up. I explained what happened and their attitude was basically: LOL IDGAF, PAY ME!!

 

I paid them here and there up to $300, then I got sick of it and started thinking of how I'm basically paying PP $1,350 AND gave that guy 4.5b.

 

I later realized that the guy who bought gold from me was previously banned for scamming on that same site. I've also learned that a mod on that site was paid by the same kid to let him ban evade... I was scammed because a corrupt mod took some money from a scammer and let a known scammer into the community.... Funny, eh?

Sold a kid 4.5b and he used frauded PP's apparently. I closed my PP and then later got several e mails saying the transactions were reversed (not chargedback'd, reversals are immediate) and so my account went -$1,350.

Call them tell them the situation and tell them contact your lawyer. Allowing someone to send money from a stolen paypal is easy to detect, they have all the ips.
