Scripter Ranks Proposal

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

This will be my second proposal. Hopefully we get some better feedback.

Name Changes

Official Script Developer > Script Developer

SDN Script Developer > Script Writer

Rank Changes

Exceptional local script writers will have the option to become a script writer without having a script on the SDN. These local writers will be handpicked once a month by an Administrator, Bot Developer, or Script Manager. Alternatively, they may receive the rank upon making a successful SDN script.

What's exactly the difference? The names are misleading. Script "Developer" is someone who develops scripts and a Script "Writer" is someone who writes them.

I would suggest:

Official Script Writer

and

Script Writer

i dont understand the need to change what has worked for so long here...

I was giving the option for Local Scripters to have the rank, not sure what the problem is.

then just add a new rank for local scripters to get, don't just oust the SDN one...

then what will happen to all the people who have SDN rank now

Why have yet another PiP when can include the limited exception Local Script Writers? I think the term "Script Writer" Also sounds a lot more prestigious than "SDN Scripter".
