Can scripts detect your password?

Hi,

Once in a while I create an account to bot and just see how far I can come. This account is fresh and has a password I've never used before. Nobody knows the login details either.

Today I logged in and saw that my bank was empty. I'm pretty sure there is no way someone could've gotten my password and even my login name. I only used it in the osbot client and ran scripts.

Is it possible that scripts can read logins and passwords? I'm trying to figure out how it happened to prevent from happening again.

Kind regards,

Lucky

And what if scripts where on the SDN before, but are no longer there? I have a few scripts that I've paid for and still use but aren't on the SDN anymore.

They aren’t available on the SDN because 1) the script author is no longer using osbot, 2) the script author didn’t keep the script up to date and fix issues or 3) the script author has gone afk for too long without providing essential updates. You still have access to them because you’ve paid for them, they’re just hidden for everyone else to purchase as a new sale. However they may not function correctly. @Tokenmanually checks every line of code that has changed between versions of the script to ensure no malicious code is hidden. Nothing gets onto the SDN without tokens approval. You have NOT been hacked by osbot, out of the thousands of active users don’t you think a lot more people with mules/a vast more amount of wealth would have also noticed being hacked? You most likely have  something on your computer, the person you’re buying tut accounts from is malicious or the email service you’re using is compromised/you’ve unknowingly used the data elsewhere as well.

Thanks for the information! I'm going to look further into this.

You can also get hacked by not having some virus or anything on your computer, there are so many data breaches at big company's which leaks your information and make attacks very easily doable.

2FA isn't even a guarantee anymore and there are many other ways you can have been hacked. (External 3rd client plugins, infected websites, infected pop up ads etc.) And you don't even notice it at first. Malware etc is very sophisticated and undetected for a long period these days.

If you use Oldschool Runescape mobile you even have more chance of being targeted since mobile phones are easily being targeted at so many ways that i can't even make a summary because it would be to much to mention.

Just like thousands of other users i have been happily using OSBot for years now and i had 0 of my accounts hacked, i used many script and there were many that aren't on the SND anymore but never had a problem like this.

I can't vouch for other bot services since in the past there had been problems with multiple of them, but i can 1000% vouch for OSBot being legit and safe.
